  Do not use this business! AJS Steel buildings do not guarantee any of their work except for 30 days. We lost our carport a year and a half after they installed it. They said they would replace it only after we file with our home owners insurance and they take the check and write off the rest. This should have been replaced for free as 54 mph winds took the carport airborn and destroyed it. They advised their product will with stand 90 mph winds which is false. They do not use the correct anchors and the installers were about 3 hours late and worked until well after 10pm on a work night. They are horrible at responding to any email and are not helpful at all. Please do not use this company because if you do have an issue with your structure you will NOT get any resolution. We have gone with a more reputable company who knows what they are doing and are making this process to replace our carport so much easier. AJS Carport is a horrible company, Do not use.

  I am writing to address a recent issue involving one of our customers, ************, and his dissatisfaction with our services following a storm in ******, **.We deeply regret to hear about any dissatisfaction from our customers, as we strive to provide the highest level of service. When we were informed about the storm damage to **************** carport, we promptly dispatched our crew the next day to dismantle the damaged structure. We also assured ************ that we would replace the damaged unit.However, ************ preferred to communicate solely via email, which unfortunately can delay our response time compared to direct phone calls. We informed him that we were consulting with our engineers about the anchoring system used and promised to follow up with any new recommendations.************ also inquired about a concrete pad, under the impression that we should pour a slab for his replacement unit. We clarified that we do not provide concrete services. He claimed that his carport only had rebar, but our records, photos, and his own posted video clearly show that the carport was installed with mobile home anchors.Our contractors observed and documented similar storm damage in **************** neighborhood, including damage to carports from different companies, front porches, roofs, fences, and even an AC unit. This evidence suggests that the storm was exceptionally severe.We attempted to resolve this issue by offering a replacement carport at no charge to ************. However, he chose to involve his attorney. At this point, we decided that all further communication should be conducted through our legal counsel. We are also considering legal action due to the false posts and videos.We hope this clarifies our position and actions taken in response to this unfortunate situation. We remain committed to providing excellent service and resolving any issues that *** arise.

  Did not properly anchor down a carport they installed. The carports anchors were uprooted in 50 mph wind. Video of carport being moved by wind. ************************************************ We do not want them to replace this but want other people to know what to watch out for when using them.
