    I brought my car to this business on January 15, 2024. I was told the problem was a cracked head gasket. Then I was told they haven't looked at it. Then I was told it would cost $1700 dollars or more if it was cracked. I been calling every other day and they tell me they haven't looked at my car. I just want an answer about my car or for them to stop playing around and give me back my car.

    We have already addressed the issue with the customer and he has his vehicle back. From our understanding he is happy with the repairs and not sure why we are barely seeing this now. Below is the timeline of the repairs we performed.

    CYLINDER HEAD TEAR DOWN ON 1/26/24
    CYLINDER HEAD INSTALLED ON 2/28/24
    COMPLETED FINAL EVALUATION ON 3/6/24

    We advised customer after diagnostics on 1/17/24 that the cylinder head would need to be removed to evaluate for possible head gasket failure and/or cracks within the cylinder head due to low compression issues found. Also found that when performing a leakdown test that the coolant was bubbling. Customer approved tear down and we told customer that the cylinder head would need to be sent off to the machine shop for evaluation for repairs needed before we can install. We also told customer that we would not be able to provide a good eta for completion due to us having to work with a machinist and would have to wait on them to finish service with the cylinder head before we can install. Also we advised customer that tear down would have to be put off for about a week due to pre scheduled work we already had inline at the shop. Machinist had cylinder head for about a month before getting the head back due to their workflow they already had going. Once cylinder head was received we installed cylinder head in a timely manner and resolved any issues that arise such as leaks or driveability issues as expected with any tear down. We do not just put the vehicle back together and let it leave. We need to be sure that the vehicle is repaired and good to go before we release to prevent a comeback issue that may have been overlooked. We have no control on the speed of the machine shop and customer was told that before tear down began. Also when customer would check for updates they were told that the machine shop still had the cylinder head and there was no update yet as that was the case. There was nothing further we could do with the vehicle till cylinder head was returned to us from machinist. There was no run around given. It was the honest truth unless customer would prefer us to lie about it. We apologize for being too thorough with our work.
