December 29, 2020-My daughter was flown to the *** hospital in Lubbock TX from Amarillo TX. The flight was great and the ambulance drivers were awesome but I was told by the hospital that everything would be taken care of financially. This is because we are low income and my husband lost his job during COVID-19, So, we didn't have a great insurance but we did have some. Our income was kind of limited though. When I got the original bill, it was more than what my house was worth. I told Apollo that I simply could not pay for this because we just didn't have the money and they told us no problem we can work with you. Thus the text messages began. I sent in Plea after plea after plea because we couldn't pay for it. Eventually Apollo quit contacting us and I thought maybe we found a resolve. I paid the hospitals off-all but one, and I paid the ambulance driver off, then the doctors and I thought we were done. The year 2023 comes around and they start texting me again telling me that I owe them more money. I told them that I don't have it and I have literally spent all of our savings paying my daughter's medical bills. They told me no problem were can offer financial services and I said ok. I sent them their application more than once and I have sent them my information more than once. Sometimes through text messaging. It is now the year 2023 and I have been sending this company via text, electronic and even in person information about my family and myself. I texted to see where we were with this and I hadn't heard anything new. 10/23/2023- I received a text saying that we "hadn't given them anything and that they were not even going to process the application because it was incomplete." They had no information on my family. I had physically walked up to Apollo and handed them my bank statements and asked them if this was all they needed and they told me that they didn't need anything else from me. The person I spoke to was rude and uncaring about my needs.
