    We purchased VERY EXPENSIVE patio furniture that was reported to be the best quality and comfort on the market. The quality was good, however the comfort was not. We only tried the $1,700 chairs for a few minutes before purchasing and when we were able to get them home and try them for hours, we couldn't find a comfortable position. All personal preference, as others have said they love them. I talked to James the owner to see if he could help us with a solution and while almost laughing at me for thinking they were not comfortable, he basically said "it's your problem, not mine". He wouldn't even consider a generous restocking fee that I offered. Yes, it is my problem. I now own $7,100 of uncomfortable chairs that we don't want to sit in. So if you ever consider buying from Panhandle Greenhouses in Amarillo, BUYER BEWARE!

    I explained to Mr. B***** that we could not resale the patio furniture as new because it was purchased on July 28th. This is very expensive patio furniture and is our number one sales item the last several years. Mr. B***** purchased the furniture because he loved it so much at his nieces house. I did not laugh at him because he did not think it was comfortable but I was shocked that he did not like it now after liking it so much when he purchased it. We have let customers change out a product because it did not fit on patio or other reasons. This is typically an exchange within a day or two of purchase. This purchase was made over 7 weeks ago. He did suggest that he would pay a $1000 restocking fee but I would have to sale this as used and we do not sale used furniture. I suggested that he sale the patio furniture himself because high end patio furniture is in short supply and it will bring a top price. I am sorry for this situation but I wish he would of tried to sale it before he decided to give us this bad review. He admitted to me that this was his problem but hoped we would purchase it back. This is not something we can do since the purchase date was seven weeks ago. We have been in business for over 30 years and this is our first negative review. We value our wonderful customers and will continue to serve all of you in the future.
