    On June 6, 2024, I purchased a used car from J Cars Auto Sales LLC. Less than an hour after leaving the dealership, the car malfunctioned and stalled, necessitating towing the remaining distance to my residence. I promptly contacted the dealership to inform them of the incident, and the tow truck driver indicated that a new battery was required.Upon requesting that J Cars resolve this issue, they informed me that I could return the car to them, but they would charge me for a new battery. However, the car would not restart, and I have been unable to operate it since the day of purchase.Subsequently, J Cars ceased responding to my phone calls. My mother visited their place of business, where they finally disclosed that I had purchased the car "as is" and that I must have damaged the engine while driving it home. They refused to take the car back, and when I requested a refund, they claimed to have already forwarded a portion of my payment to the DMV.The dealership failed to disclose any mechanical issues, and I have been unable to use the vehicle. I paid $5,597.00 for the car, and I request a full refund.
