    july 10 2024 I left my mother's expensive bedspread to be cleaned and stains removed. I got it back shrunken and marred and apparently ripped because the sewed it up in a very crude manner. Stains remained, as well. The following is my yelp review; Beware. Dishonest. My mom died a year ago. I decided to use her comforter and matching upholstered furniture in my bedroom. She had great taste and to remember her, Id love to have it. My grandson got a few drips of a fudgesicle on the comforter. I decided to use a cleanser in my new neighborhood. I'm so sorry I did not check reviews. Bright Cleaners on GreenOaks is horrible.I didn't like them not having a drive through but wanted to use them out of convenience and find a cleaners near me. I walk in and leave the spread and am told to come back Saturday to pick up. I came back 3 times beyond Sat because they told me it wasnt ready. I thought about just taking it back before they lost it or something but finally they gave it to me and said, we couldn't get the stain out. Its in a plastic bag so I didn't look it over.I get it home, comforter still in the bag. I spread it out on the bed and it shrunk from a king to a double bed size. I also notice, it must have torn and been sewed up. The seam must have come undone because they have the amature sewing job and the part sewn is in a weird looking raised section about 9 inches long. When they had told me they couldn't get the stain out, they didn't mention it had been tortured and beaten beyond repair. When I had picked it up, I said, "why should I pay for the service if you didn"t get the stain out?" and they said we tried so you need to pay. I paid and now I'm just dumb founded at the incompetence of Bright Cleaners.
