On June 22, 2023, BBB Serving North Central Texas requested that the business substantiate, modify, or discontinue income claims advertised online. For example:
- “??Cash flow $10-20K/mo in 90 days without owning property”
- “Make tens of thousands of dollars a month…”
- “To give you the skill to earn 6 figures income in the next 6 months…”
The BBB Code of Advertising also states, “Claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.”
The business provided some documentation in an effort to substantiate the large income claims. However, BBB expressed concern that the substantiation was not commensurate to the claims being advertised and only represented a small number of participants.
As of December 1, 2023, the business has failed to substantiate, modify, or discontinue the challenged claims.
