I have been living in this address for the now near 8n years. this community was great, but from the beginning of last year I've been having issues with my neighbors downstairs. I had a neighbor in the apartment 112 who (she) was doing drugs and all the fumes, smokes and rare chemicals particles were up here into my apartment that is located on the second floor with the # ***. She moved out and I had since then a dificult relationship with the property manager (Cadence). After this all problems, I got another neighbor that moved in into apartment with two big dogs, one of those dogs looks like a pitbull or similar. My new neighbor smokes inside so I am suffering for a second hand smoker, her dog sometimes is barking around 7 am and being disturbing at that early morning. Also I do not know exactly what is. but every evening that I return from work my apartment is too hot and smells so disgusting like a rare chemicals components, obviously this is a clear concern for my own health. All of those situations I complained with the management team of Woodchase apartments and they do not want to do an investigation. also I have e-mails with my reports and never got a feedback from the property manager. As you can see, I feel neglected and ignored. I am a man of 58 years old and I feel discriminated as well for the lack of response from the managers. last time I had a conversation with ********* the manager, she told me in a rude way or "suggested" that I can move out, when I am not the problem. I am looking forward for some help, the police also refuse to investigate and like I told you. I am afraid of my health and my well being. Looking forward too hear from you, *******************************.

Since April 2021 ******************************* has been complaining about various smoke odors from three different neighbors in two separate apartments. Our community is not a smoke free community and smoking is not a violation of any lease at Woodchase.  As of February 2022, the complaints turned into outside arguments with the two residents while he was accusing her of smoking inside. Both residents asked management (myself) to come into their apartment to confirm the allegations, myself and our maintenance team did not smell anything. As of June 2022, ****** has also reached out to the police and nothing uninhabitable was noted. This resident moved out early July and a new resident moved in July 2022 and since she moved in, he has lodged the exact same complaints about the new resident. He started complaining to the office of his apartment smelling like chemicals and being too hot, myself and my maintenance team both checked his apartment and found nothing out of the normal in his apartment. Since then, he has approached the neighbor which turned into her calling the police on him for harassing her. The fire department was also called on 1/18/23 by ****** to inspect the smells and they did not find anything that would be a concern. We have taken all measures to ensure his home is a safe place he can reside in.
Our efforts to assist him included the steps mentioned above as well as the opportunity to transfer since he is the one reporting an issue that no one can find and he was adamant that he was not willing to transfer.
We believe that we have gone above and beyond to assist him in any way possible however, if the issue being reported is not something that our entire team, the **** and the *** are able to even find, we cannot resolve this issue for him in any other way than to transfer him since there have been 2 different residents living in the unit above him that he is complaining about and we could not find anything in the unit above during 2 separate residents' tenancy.
At this point, the complaints our office is receiving now revolve around potential harassment by him alleged by other residents in the building which we will now have to address as well directly with him.re...
