    Bought a refurbished set of a stackable *************** I paid $600 plus $100 installation. The washer never worked. He expected me to lift the dryer up on top of the washer, which was not discussed. He said he told me to buy a surge protector but he didnt ask me to do that until much later & blames it on that.

    The dispute has been resolved.  The washer in the dispute was replaced with another washer... at no charge to the customer.

    As to the dispute itself... I did tell the customer at the time of the install that she needed to purchase a surge protector..  She may not have understood what I was saying... But for whatever reason... she did not purchase one.  In her complaint... she said the the washer never worked.  That is a totally false statement.  The washer worked ... but had a small issue with the soap door... and one of the water valves on her plumbing was turned off.   After those two things were corrected (at no charge to the customer) the washer worked... So her statement is completely false.    But about a month after the installation... the washer had electrical problems ...very likely because her electrical connection was surging and she did not follow through on connecting the washer to a surge protector. So the control board became dysfunctional.  Rather than repair the machine...I opted to replace the washer entirely-- again at no charge to the customer.

    Therefore... the customer has been given good care --and all issues are now resolved..
