      I had a escrow set paid 3/28/24. About 4 to 5 weeks after payment, a check was sent to me from Texas Fair plan. I called my lender originally to figure out why payment was issued and they stated i needed to reach out to Texas Fair plan. I reached out to them 6/3 to verify the check 2x and they verified the check was an overpayment. They advised I was able to go ahead and cash it. A month later I get a call stating my policy was canceled for non payment. I requested information from them and they repeatedly told me my lender issued both checks (escrow payment $3125 and the overpayment $2969). ****** denied sending both payments and after further research Texas Fair Plan realized their staff made the mistake by putting someone's payment into my account. The payment for another policy holder...(mind you different name policy number address and everything) was added to my account. They threatened me to pay that amount immediately or my policy would be canceled. I explained I didnt have that money up front. They ultimately canceled without retification or providing any solution for me. I agreed to rectify their mistake by making payments to repay even though financially it was going to put me and my family under. I spoke to their manager ************************* who stated he was sending this up for higher for pay options. Last time contact w/ ************* was 6/25. He stated it should take a few days to hear back. After no contact for weeks I called to try to get update with no response. ************* finally contacted via email 7/11 letting me he was still waiting to hear from higher up regarding a payment plan. ******* has promised to call back several times but I yet to hear from him or any one at the company. Anytime I call the business they say all the managers are unavailable and someone will have to call me back but no one does. Im truly at wits end on how to have this resolved if they don't respond or provide clarity.
