      Purchased a Brivo Card access system via ADT. ADT decided to use HID readers which are horrible. The readers have this BRIGHT red light (that you can see a mile away) when the doors are locked and when the doors are in a unlocked state, the reader constantly flashes red/green as if it's malfunctioning. I have never seen a reader in my life function like this, so they are either of poor design or poor quality. Not sure, but I want my money back for what I paid ADT for these faulty readers. Separately, these readers take some sort of weird clamshell card vs. that of a traditional proximity card so the card does not work with my time clock. Nobody at ADT or Bivio can explain why this is an issue or know how to turn off the bright lights on these readers. Apparently HID does not support their dealers if their dealers don't know how to manage the readers.
