    Currently trying to figure out how to protest this ercot thing. How can they charge so much. I have 4 accounts, one account was only $40.42, the actual energy use was only $14 something, and ercots charge was 16 something, how is that even possible or fair.?This company is charging more than half of our actual usage, bringing our bills up like crazy. Is there anyone out there who knows who to contact to put a stop to this theft this company is doing? I could understand if they were charging 5 or 10 bucks per account, but charging half or more than half is absolutely wrong on every level!

    In my area prices have tripled up to ******* a month. We are keeping air conditioner set on 81 all the time. doesn't matter prices still going up. Something should be done people can't afford electricity anymore.

    They make so many threats. They force people with newborn babies, children, young adults, elderly, people with health problems and disabilities to sleep in outrageous conditions hot or cold. My apartment is small, 3 people live here with one being a disabled child, and me with health problems. I am required to use a Bi-PaP machine to sleep at night. Without it, I could die if I fall asleep. Fortunately, I cannot sleep without it so I am forced to stay up at night. We have no family here. So ultimately we're forced to stay in our home. We don't have the funds to stay in hotel rooms. My apartment in the summer time without electricity gets OVER 100 degrees. Like one person said already, I WANT to see PROOF that they are also sleeping in these conditions. Otherwise, all they care about is them selves. Just because you work at ERCOT doesn't mean you should get special privileges. You are no better than we are. If it wasn't for US WORKING and paying electricity bills, y'all WOULDNT have a job. WE THE **** PAYING PEOPLE ARE THE REASON YOU HAVE JOBS. Remember that. I'm honestly waiting for Texas to go on strike against ERCOT because they think they know what's best for us when the GOVERNOR HAS SAID THAT OUR POWER GRID IS NOT EXPERIENCING ANY ISSUES. So please explain why you want to continue to make threats. I don't think thats wise ERCOT. We the people need to stand together, and stop taking BS from this company who knows absolutely NOTHING. Aside from that, they aren't even BBB accredited so why are they allowed to be in business. No thanks. I'm moving out of Texas as soon as possible until Texas decides to become it's OWN entity.
