Our experience with WOW Total Cleaning & Restoration has been horrific and we want to warn other potential customers of this company's fraudulent business practices. They had originally misquoted us for minor water damage repair, over $8K (original estimate attached). Not knowing this was not the correct estimate and in good faith, we paid half the amount as per contract before they began the work (receipt attached for $4,123.80). After they finished the work, they mentioned the adjuster had made a mistake and we would be getting a refund for the difference of what we already paid for, which they processed on 10/13 along with their detailed final statement and final amount of $1,857.36, which is also attached. Two weeks after the work had been completed, we began receiving weekly invoices and harassing calls regarding altered charges that they added to a new statement of $803 to materials (new statement from 10/26 attached). After reading their work authorization closely, there is no mention of price changes or additional costs AFTER the work had been done and PAID for (work authorization attached). At this point they are trying to send this bill to collection, which I believe is not fair since they've made multiple mistakes already that proves they are untrustworthy. They should own up to their mistakes and pay for them.

    Business Response

First of all I apologize for the misunderstanding,

Our company was contacted to provide an assessment in a property that suffered water damage, our team went to assess and send a preliminary estimate to the client. We got the approval to do the mitigation work the following day. The mitigation work was completed within five days.

The client contacted us to do the repairs after the water damage and we were very accommodating knowing that the property was needed to be ready for an event coming in two weeks.

We provided an estimate to the client and insurance, which was approved by insurance. Work was performed and some items included in the estimate were not needed to be done and we informed the client that those items would be removed from our invoice.

At the time of reviewing our estimate, some line items that we performed were removed by accident and reimbursement was sent. After that we had reviewed and adjusted our invoice adding the items that were removed by our mistake and we sent the remaining balance to the client.

Once again , I apologize for the misunderstanding.

    Respectfully,
