I parked in The ****** parking garage operated by LAZ Parking on 1/30/25. I scanned the ** code in the garage, registered my contact info & entered my credit card information. I received a validation code from restaurant Il Bruto when I checked in with the restaurant valid for an hour of parking. I drove out of the garage after slightly less than two hours. The receipt I have includes this verbiage, which indicates my credit card would be charged for the balance due: "Weve placed a temporary hold on your card for your stay. Dont worry when youre done, well only charge you for the adjusted amount if you applied a validation. It may take 24 hours or more for the charge to be adjusted, depending on your card provider." Then my husband received a Notice of Non-Compliance dated 2/4/25 indicating he owed $92. I disputed the charge with the Parking ************************ (****) as directed, who said I had not followed the rules of the ********** could only give a $20 discount & $72 was now owed. I have been unable to figure out what rules were broken. I requested arbitration but my husband, ******, was instead sent to collections. I have emailed and/or called LAZ Parking, PRRS and the Disputes section at the attorney's office & have been run around in circles. I do not owe $72 or $92. If anything, I owe the extra hour (actually less than an hour) of parking. Im happy to pay that. The daily max for this garage shows as $12 on the hotel website. Note that I was told by the Supervisor at the recovery service mentioned above that she has told LAZ Parking their signage is misleading, but I have to take it up with them; only they can revoke the notice and remove me from collections. No one at the company has returned my calls & even the operator option sends me to voice mail. I appreciate any assistance you can provide in resolving this matter. In addition, I want their predatory practice to be on record.

After speaking with ******* *******, this is what I learned.

******* entered the garage Jan. 30, 2025. After scanning the ** code and inputting their Information, they walked over to IL Brutto. When asked how many hours of parking they purchased, they replied, "I don't know, it was so long ago." Looking back through our records, ******* purchased 1hr. of parking from 7:54 pm to 8:54pm. IL Brutto has a validation code with LAZ that allows for 2 hours of parking free. ******* applied the code which validated the 1 hour they purchased but stayed past their purchased time, believing the validation gave them a free extra hour of parking, resulting in the violation. ******* then went on to explain that they reached out to Parking ************************* (PRRS) who is our third-party enforcement vendor. They reduced the violation from $72 to $52. ******* wanted a number to speak with someone at LAZ. **** then gave them a number to our home office in ***********. I asked, "Did you reach out to The ****** or IL ****** in regard to this matter?" ******* replied "Why would I do that? This is a parking matter." I also informed her that if you look up LAZ ****** on several search engines, our ************ Number appears. We also have our ********************************** email posted in the garage as a way of contacting our team. I have submitted the violation to be dismissed, apologized to her for the inconvenience, and informed her of how to contact us in the future in ******, if needed. ******* thanked me and we ended our call.

I purchased a parking pass to park on 11/20 from 6am to 3pm. The day of 11/20 I had to enter another vehicle, before my time started, due to my vehicle was not drivable. I tried to change the license plate number, as stated on the website, but it was not successful. I kept calling the reservation number and no one answered. I emailed customer service several times with no answer. On 12/1, the person vehicle I used received a bill for $45. I reached out again to Laz Parking via email, and no one has responded or rescinded the bill for $45. I have paid the $11 for parking and shouldn't have to pay the $45 since no one could assist me in changing over the license plate number for ********************** on 11/20
