  Lakeside Towing, located at *****************************************************, impounded my vehicle on June 25th. Despite Texas regulations requiring a five-day notification period before charges, Lakeside Towing charged me $50 on June 27th, citing an automatic system process. This practice is unfair and violates Chapter 2303 of the Texas Occupations Code. Additionally, Lakeside Towing does not have their correct business address listed on any website except Chamberofcommerce.com. They should update their business pages accordingly.

  Hi ****** residents. Lakeside Towing charges $50 prematurely on the 2nd day of service despite having 5 days per Texas Occupations Code, Chapter 2303, to notify owners or lien holders. They claim the system auto-charges, but this doesnt justify charges for customers who have called. Send complaints to the **************** of ********* and Regulation.com

  Such poor customer service. Called, someone named **** answered. Told him my name; about to explain my reason for the call before being cut off immediately. Put me on hold, and after taking me off I was cut off yet again "I'm putting you on hold again when I come back have the last four numbers of your vin". I had ZERO chance to talk. **** returned only to hang up on me as I attempted to finish explaining my initial question. I had already called earlier today so I did not need confirmation that my vehicle was indeed in their possession and I did not need anything other than ONE simple answer to a very simple question. But Mr. **** who's "been doing this for 23 years" knows best and whatever questions I have were ultimately "unnecessary" and it's "just that simple", otherwise Mr. **** has "nothing to help you with". If I did not give a one word answer to Bill he cut me off, hung up. On the third call, after being hung up on twice, patronized, and told not to call back, (all for trying to ask ONE QUESTION), I was finally able to explain my situation and halfway thru asking my ONE QUESTION I was cut off yet again. Instead of apologizing **** explained I had my questions answered by ****** who I spoke with earlier today, of which he also confirmed "I know because I was next to him when you called." As if this justified his patronizing and lack of courtesy in helping me by answering ONE question. ****** was much more courteous and willing to let me talk like a real human being & yes he did answer a few of my questions. I would assume that's part of their job.. Even if ****** answered my questions.. hmmm I don't know... maybe there's a reason I called again... and maybe, just maybe, I only wanted to clarify a situation by asking ONE, QUESTION... that apparently is too much for ************** 20 + years of experience. Zero respect for others. If I was there in person I doubt he would treat me with such indecency. More than happy to send confirmation of my calls. Do better.

  ***************************************************** I had my car stolen and Lakeside towing impounded my car. I just moved here from ********** and all my belongings were in my car. I have ****** these people a letter from the ****** i also have my police report showing I am the registered owner and still they will not let me even see my car let alone get whatever belongings that wasn't stolen. They are rude and don't help customers they just want to keep the vehicle to get money. They are messing with people lively hoods. It convenient for them to scam people with thier cars.

  Lakeside Towing only picks up vehicles at the order of a police department. The release of vehicles are governed by ************** laws. Owner of car could use a valid liability insurance card to gain access to car or pick up car. Person who tried to get car had none of the required information.
