I wouldn't do business with them. They lured me into giving them a non-refundable franchise fee based on mis-representing the revenue earned by franchisees in the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD). After agreeing to start a franchise, I was given access to the database of franchisee's revenues and found all of the locations in my area and surrounding states were reporting revenues of less than one half of what they deemed average. While the figure may have been the average, it was elevated by a few over-performing stores that were reporting sales roughly ten times what was typical in my region, and they only used the revenues of half the stores in the average calculation because they weren't operational the whole year. For example, for say one store earns a revenue of 400k a year, two others 100k, and seven earn ******k. The total revenue is 880k, the average is 88k per store. But the reality is that the high performing locations were in geographical regions that command a much higher cost of living, such as ** and **. Most stores are in other states, and they earn less than half of the average Unleashed Brands discloses in their FDD. You only gain access to the granular state-by-state data after you send them the non-refundable franchise agreement. When I requested my $40k franchise fee back, they refused and played the victim, as if I let them down by not opening a store. They swindled me and never refunded my money, and I never opened a store because I didn't want to further engage with a company that practiced deceptive baiting tactics. I later found they were embroiled in several lawsuits with franchisees and knew I made the right decision to distance myself from these tricksters. If they deceive you from the start, imagine where that is going to lead. Be cautious of this group, they will even use faith and God as a baiting tactic. Best to steer clear and not give them an ounce of your energy because you'll likely regret doing so.
