      On April 12th I visited EZ Fumes 2 to purchase 2 bottles of OPM Kratom one of the bottles had been tampered with and switched with Worcestershire Sauce. Upon my husband discovery I called the business at 10:56 pm and was told that I could exchange it on April 13. During the exchange it was discovered that another bottle had also been tampered with. The owner was called and I also showed him another bottle. He disputed that my bottle was purchased there because of the barcode. While there a total of three bottles were open 1 with a closed seal that I opened and 2 that were already opened. You cannot open a bottle without using some type of device. Its very scary because this was just Worcestershire Sauce it could have laced with fentanyl causing severe damage if not death. By his employee on admission the bottle was slightly opened but he disregarded it by suggesting that I didnt purchase it from his business. The night in question I also told his female employee that it was my first time there bc the one I go to was closed and that ****** suggested here. Allowing tampered items such as Kratom to be sold could cause great harm to customers. He should have been more interested in finding a solution than trying to feel like someone was lying to him. He has video surveillance throughout the store that would go along with this statement. The female employee also agreed that I called within ***** after leaving once I was informed of the discovery because I took the Kratom to my husband in Forest Hills. The owner was very disrespectful in his argument because he was only concerned with proving that his merchandise had not been altered even when there were signs of it on other bottles. Thank you!

      The customer bought two of the same items late in the night of 4/12/23. She then called shortly before closing to inform us she had an issue with the product. We informed her that we were about to close and if she came in the next day we could resolve the issue. She came back mid-day 4/13/23 and spoke with a manager which did not end up solving the issue at that time. Later that evening the manager contacted her to solve the issue if she were to come back. The customer agreed to come back the next day 4/14/23. The items were then replaced plus an extra of the same item from the manager.
