    I signed a contract with *** to sell my dads stuff. She was receptive and communicated regularly at first. As time went on, she couldnt return my phone calls because she had a friend that died. We picked up some things that she was to sell and she still has multiple items that she was supposed to list online and now refuses to return any communication email text or phonecalls. She also owes us at least $300 from her own calculations and wont mail the check. This has been a nightmare for my family.

    After the death of my mother in July, 2023 and the upcoming sale of her home my *********** contracted with Lyn Huck Estate Services to hold an Estate Sale of her more valuable items. I have the contract we signed. She verbally gave an estimate of valuation and the contracted agreement was a 50/50 split of the proceeds. The sale took place in a sale on her premices in December and again in January 2024.The business committed to pricing and advertising of all items, staffing the sales. We were responsible for the $1,700.00 moving cost of the furnishings to the Estate Sale location. We had to email and call multiple times for our 50% of the proceeds of the Sale. After three months we finally received a summary (not detailed) of the Sale and a check for $3,500.00. We were shocked and stunned at the receipt of this small check and feel scammed and completely taken advantage of by Lyn Huck Estate Services. I have in my file a detailed appraisal of the finer pieces of furniture and silver from another Antiques and Estate ************ who we regret we did not use only because of the tight time schedule we were on due to the quick sale of the house. This was a complete scam. My husband and I have followed up with three emails for the selling prices of eight pieces of furniture and our dismay and have not received a response back.
