All complaints are directly about the owner, Colton Rhodes and not his employees. I originally made a work order to take down a tree in my front yard, paid him upfront and he left a huge quantity of saw dust and dirt kicked up from his ***** grinder all over my yard, originally he told me my invoice included tree removal, ***** grinding and hauling of materials but at the end of the day I never received an official invoice at all, Just a price to complete the job. I paid him exactly what he wanted 1,623.45$, and after he realized that his machine caused a lot of extra work, his response was either to pay him an extra 500 dollars for the dirt/saw dust removal, or his words exactly theres going to be a problem His license number is #******* Never in my life have I ever dealt with someone so threatening and unprofessional. Not only should he lose his license but he should be put in jail for telling me to pay him extra or theres going to be a problem

Ill start by saying we had an agreement to cut the tree down and remove the ***** .

So we removed the tree stacked it on the curb for the city to pick up

    Also we removed the stump

once completed we bagged the ***** shavings

once we were done he requested to grind it deeper so we came back to grind it deeper

I had to leave to go to another job so we left some shavings

This morning we came back to pick them up he requested to grind the ***** deeper again so we did

he insisted there were issues I had no issues I did tell him if we were going to continue to grind more and more I'd need more money

He also started a Drain project and wanted us to haul that dirt off and it was not part of the orginal deal

sorry you had a bad experience..

His family owns a landscaping and irrigation business in ***** college station

So I see that being the conflict in this matter

    Thanks ,

    Colton Rhodes

I am rejecting this response because:

not once did you ever tell me I would need to pay more money in order to grind the ***** further, thats a straight up lie.

what you told me word for word Was either I pay you another 500 for the hauling of materials or that there was going to be a problem. And THAT is the main issue here

also this could have been avoided if you had just given me a invoice for services rendered and services paid. But you just gave me a price through a text message which I paid before the job was even done.

as for the dirt left from my drain project I hauled that away myself, your employees ***** and **** saw me do it while they were collecting the saw dust and dirt that was left over from your rental ***** grinder after the first round of grinding. Ask them yourself since you never came on site to inspect the work for yourself. I even have a huge portion of that **** left in my garage that i put there, myself.

What had happened (which you would know if you bothered to come on site and see the work your employees were doing) after the first round of ***** grinding your employee ***** left a dirt pile so large it was impossible to even tell the ***** was there. After I dug and hauled off about 3-4 yards of dirt and sawdust MYSELF I found the ***** was still there. Which are the pictures I attached to the original complaint. Once I addressed the ***** to you said you would take care of it. But by taking care of it you also threatened me and cussed me out in the process.

See the thing here is i have absolutely no problem with the job you did on the tree what I have a problem with is the threatening language you used on me to try and bully me out of more money. Which I told you from the get go I had no problem paying

All you had to do was reason with me and communicate to me respectfully about the finances of the job, communication is key with jobs like this and if you had simply just said ******, this job is taking a lot more man hours, resources, and time than I anticipated and in order to finish it I just need 500 for the final finances I would have given it to you gladly

But that's not what happened at all. You ignored me most of the time and then when you couldnt ignore me you let your emotions get the best of you in what was supposed to be a long a fruitful professional relationship for both of us.

even after I made this complaint on bbb you did the most unprofessional thing and called me directly on the phone, continuously cussing me out and saying I slandered your business. In truth the only person that slandered your business is you.

I would also like you to know my family has absolutely no affiliation with any landscaping company In Bcs, **************** investors and developers, which has nothing to do with landscaping? So trying to make me out as some sort of competitor or rival to your business is pathetic to say the least.

With all that being said I want the threatening phone calls to stop and I never want to be contacted by this man again.
