I was in ***** this weekend 5/17-19/2024, for an event. Two of my nails had come off during the event so I went to get them done during down time. I arrived at the salon around 730pm the salon closes at 8pm but they were able to get me in. Because they were closing soon they asked me to pay early so they could close out the register. I agreed because I did come later. So I wanted my nails to be black with green glitter using gel polish. First she tried using regular nail polish and kept trying to dry them under the light but it wouldnt dry so I finally told her this isnt gel polish. She goes and gets another bottle and paints my nails. She keeps painting outside my nail so she has to keep wiping it off and starting over. After she does this more than ten times she then takes a filter and tries to file the polish off that didnt work so she took the electric drill and tries to take it off and at this point she is scraping my skin off and cutting my cuticle and its well after 830pm. So I ask her to stop and that I will come back tomorrow for a refund. I called the salon Sunday afternoon during a break in the event and told the manager the situation and he already knew about it. He asked me to come in so he could fix them and I told him I am at an event and would be leaving back home afterwards and I just want to be refunded. He then gave me his number to send pictures. I did stop by the salon on my way home and asked for a refund again. He kept asking me if he could fix them but I told him I didnt have time because I had two cars waiting on me with 10 kids and 3 dogs and the fact that my fingers were sore due to her filing them to try and remove polish. He tries to offer me $20 cash and I said no want half and my tip back which would have been $35. I am now requesting a full refund due to the issue and the lack of empathy and resolve.
