On 12/22/2024 I purchased a Gaming PC (ASUS ROG Strix G16CH) from Aztek Computers via ****** for $162.99. The following day, upon receipt of my order they messaged me asking that I cancel the order because they were out of stock. I let them know that I do not wish to cancel the order and that I was willing to wait. They came back offering that I select another item worth up to $200. They did not have any other PC for under $200 so I suggested some similar (though worse) PCs they did have for sale. This went back and forth for a week with them just going in circles saying they were willing to help, but then never offering a solution that got me a PC. In all of the back and forth I ended up on their store page and in their store review section where I found several other people with the same/similar complaint of them "selling" something for a good deal, then saying it was out of stock and trying to replace it with something of less value. In an effort to try and find a solution I even went as far as suggesting a Graphics Card which was closer to their offer figure of $200 but they removed the two I suggested from their store page as soon as I made that suggestion. I let them know I saw them do that, and told them they needed to respond or I was going to escalate my issue to Amazon, the BBB and the **** they responded by cancelling my order. I'm reaching out because I have a receipt showing that I purchased a ASUS ROG Strix G16CH Gaming Desktop Computer - 13th Gen ***** Core i9-13900 24-Core up to 5.6 GHz, 128GB RAM, 512GB NVMe SSD + 6TB HDD, GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB GDDR6, RGB Case, Windows 11 Home from Aztek Computers and I need them to fulfill their order. It is my understanding that an order confirmation is a contract between a buyer and a seller, and they should not be allowed to cancel my order.

This order was cancelled since the item was no longer in stock. We try to fulfill all orders but some time with holidays and high demand the cancellations do occur. We did not charge the customer any money and therefore We do not owe him anything.

I am rejecting this response because:   I have an order confirmation for the Gaming Computer that I purchased. The item was in stock when I purchased it. There was no indication of low/limited stock (which is clearly labeled and visible when purchasing on amazon). I had the charges on hold with my CC for over a week while trying to come to an acceptable resolution with Aztek Computers. When Aztek Computers refused to be reasonable and provide another option for a Gaming Computer that they did have in stock, they cancelled my order without my consent.

This item sells for over $2000 you are just upset because you were not able to get the computer for cheap. As I stated before the item you ordered was bought by another customer and we had to cancel the order since it was not available.

I'm not sure what else to do here. Is there any point in me continuing this reject/accept course of action? As you can see from their response and the history from the Amazon messages they change their story every time I talk to them. 1st it was out of stock, then it was a mistake, then it was amazons fault, now someone else bought it before me and "I'm just mad about it". I don't know what else to do, the item was up for sale, I purchased it, it was in stock and I received an order confirmation. Go read their Amazon and ****** reviews, there are other buyers besides me with the exact same story, it seems to me they are trying to bait and switch on people, lure people in with a good deal, then claim its out of stock and try to **** off some other garbage on the buyer so they can keep the money. If they get push back then they just cancel the order and do it again to another unsuspecting buyer.
