    I made two maintenance requests to have a water leak fixed and since the leak was not stopped eventually black mold started to develop in one half of the unit and I have asthma. Breathing the mold was starting to affect my asthma and since the problem was not being resolved I vacated the unit. Now they have rented the unit and are sending me bills with late charges on them even after I told them the unit had been vacated and why.

    Hello!

    On 5/10/2024 I reached out to ********************* regarding renewing her lease at ***********************  The first attachment is our correspondence.  She informed me that they had moved out almost a month before my text due to mold.  I researched and at the time was unable to find the request.  Upon looking further, I was able to see where the request was made. I tried to get more information from her but she never responded.  I also did explain that even thought they had moved out early, their lease didn't end until 7/19/2024 so they need to make sure and pay the rent until it's leased back out.  They did not tell anyone they were moving, they ignored the emails requesting the information for renewal and never signed a lease break agreement.

    I asked our plumber what the situation was and if there was mold, his correspondence is the second attachment.  He said there was no evidence of mold, but there was mass amounts of animal f**** on the bathroom floor.  

    I then did the walk through and the tenants has left an abundance of personal items in the property (including trash, dirty diapers, dressers...) cost of repairs were astronomical to the owner due to damage to the floors from animal urine and feces.

    If she moved out of the property due to mold, that is absolutely fine.  But there is a proper procedure of moving out early and this was not followed.  We were not even told they had moved out.  She is legally bound to her signed lease agreement reflecting her duty to pay rent in full each month until 7/19/2024.  We would have most likely let them out of their lease if they had let us know there were health problems due to a leak/mold.  Lastly, at the move out, we did not see any signs of mold anywhere.  The last attachment is the move out report with pictures, showing how the property was left.

    I am rejecting this response because: most of it was untrue.  I also have pictures of the way I left the unit and there was NO pet f**** or urine.  And there was black mold on the walls and I have pictures of that also.  I can verify what I say.  I also made a video of the way I left the unit and it was clean all but one room.
