    Business Response

    To whom this may concern.

This email is in response to the complaint filed by Lynne *******.

Ms. ******* has been in contact with NanoSeal regarding the work that had been completed and the warranty provided by NanoSeal.  Lynne’s work was originally completed back in April of 2022, she has called since then stating that the seal has not been holding up on the patio surface. We understand this is frustrating and we have spoken to Ms. ******* about getting her on the warranty calendar. When we first talked to Ms. ******* about the warranty, we did let her know that we had a waiting list for warranty work. This is not normally the case, however, with the exceptionally hot summer, the concrete has been getting upwards of 160 degrees Fahrenheit. We cannot lay the sealant down with such extreme heat since it may flash off in such heat. This means that we must wait for the ground to cool down a bit and we have notified our customers of this. We have been scheduling warranty work for September – January where we can address the concerns during the cooler weather and the seal can be laid properly without it flashing off. We do have Ms. ******* in our system for scheduling and we will make sure her job is put as a priority and she will be contacted again immediately.

Please note that this issue is a manufacturing issue, not a workmanship issue. We have been working with the manufacturer on improvements for future issues with the extreme heat.

    Thank you,
