    On July ******* I made reservations and paid in full per their request at Villa Del Sol condos for $422.00. It was a 3rd floor condo and advertised with an elevator. Upon receiving my checkin instructions it was noted that the elevator was out of order. I immediately ask when the elevator would be in service as I am 79 years old and use a ****** so going up flights of stairs was impossible for me. I was informed it was a no refund reservation and I would be at the least charged a $289.00 charge! As this is out of my control that their elevator is out of order and they cannot give me assurance that it will be working any time soon I feel a full refund is in order. This is solely on them not me. I also feel this is a case of fraudulent advertising. I will continue to request a full refund.

    This is an issue between the guest and the home owner. 

    The Villa Del Sol Condominiums does not manage rentals of units. 

    Any and all refunds is the responsibility of the condo owner and/or the rental agency. 

    The guest needs to contact the owner.

    I response to the consumers complaint:

    The Villa Del Sol does not generate nor manage guest reservations. This is done via a third party between the guest and the property owner.  Any and all business transactions are exclusively handled between said guest and owner.  The Villa Del Sol solely provide check in service once the guest starts a reservation.  Any complaints or requests concerning an existing or pending reservation must be addressed directly to the owner on the property, not the Villa **** ***.  The Villa Del Sol has no dealings with business transactions such as refunds.  Only the property owner can grant or deny refunds. All communication concerning business transactions must be accomplished directly to the owner or third party vendor.  Any and all complaints, refund requests or requests for rental rules and cancelation policies must be directed to the owner or third party vendor.

    I am rejecting this response because: The reason I had to cancel my stay was solely because your elevator was not working. I had no control over your equipment and/or poor maintenance.
