I lived briefly at this property and was left with no choice but to terminate my lease as employees of the property management company were repeatedly entering my home without notice, notice of entry, and - at times - without any open work orders. I was left feeling very unsafe in my own home. The management company is trying to charge me for early lease termination despite my repeated complaints about their employees entering my home. I gave ample notice to vacate and left the apartment spotless. Early lease termination fees are unacceptable as I did not want to move but was left with no choice due to the actions of their service team and inactions of the property manager to stop them from illegally entering my home.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This is factually incorrect. None of what the business responded pertains to my complaint.

The water extraction for the soaking wet carpets occurred the day PRIOR to me moving into ****************** their sister property - NOT Villas at Parkside. I moved into Villas at Parkside in June 2022. Water extraction at ******* de ***** happened April 6, 2022. My complaint pertains to Villas at Parkside. Of note, the time maintenance entered my property without notice at ******* de ***** was to install appliances that were missing upon move in, NOT to extract water from the carpet. Additionally, since the business has brought up ******* de *****, I transferred to Villas at Parkside - at my expense- just 2 months after moving into ******* de ***** because of fraud. My apartment was supposed to be an upgraded unit but was not. It had old cabinets, dented white appliances, no dryer, and the 'resort' amenities that were advertised were out of service and had been since September 2021. I specifically leased my unit there facing the 'resort' amenities. ******* de ***** ended up being ***** de *****.

The incident where I exited my bedroom to find an unknown man inside my apartment - their vendor - was the day AFTER my hvac unit was repaired and there were no open work orders and no notice that anyone was going to be entering my unit. The vendor was NOT let into my apartment. He had keys.

The emergency leak incident is understandable that they needed immediate entry, however, no Notice of Entry was posted, no phone call before or after received by the property management. I walked into my apartment to a giant knife on the floor of my apartment. Notice of Entry is legally required when entering a unit when a resident is not home and unaware access is needed.

Villas at Parkside repeatedly violated my right to privacy and caused an unliveable situation.
