I was trying to get a bond to bail a loved one out of jail. I've used this company before but the person I worked with was no longer there and they had changed ownership, but I was willing to work with them but, it was kind of weird that they wanted my payment before I even did the application. So I was reassured that if something didn't work out that I would receive my money back within 24hrs. More than once probably 2 or 3 times I asked and the young lady and she reassured me yes 24 hours. I used my debit card and gave them $ ******* and there supposed to work out a payment plan for the remainder. The bond was $ *******. Once I did the application they came back and said the ******* wasn't going to be enough they wanted the whole amount. Or another person to cosign. Because i get social security disability they didnt think that was enough they said you know someone with a real job that makes more money, Which I already told them that was all I had the *******. I tried to get them to work with me but they just were asking for more than what I could do. So I told them that's fine I will go check around a few other companies to send my money back. It's 24 hrs rite. Well it's been 2 days no money back it's still pending in my account. And my loved one is sitting in jail suffering, bc they lied about the 24 hours if they would have just voided the transaction bc it was the same day my money would be returned, I believe they just use that as a gimmick to get you to try and make you use them and pay more money than I had. I had sold some stocks and bonds just to get that money it was everything i had. Now we have to wait bc no other bond companies will do anything without having the money to pay them. It's not the bank I used either it's the merchant who's holding it there bank and that money makes interest for them while it sits in limbo for up to 7 days. It's a shame that you have to lie take people's money like that and your supposed to help people. Very deceiving.

I reached out to my bank and they see no refund issued or pending. Aaa Atlas said they issued a refund Saturday. My bank said even on the weekends if they would have issued a refund it would show up when they pulled up Mt account. The woman I spoke with emailed me a bank statement.

      Good afternoon, ****************

After the final underwriting decision was made for ************, it was deemed that we needed to further requirements to secure our liability of $25,000 due to her continuous no shows to court. We were notified by you that you were unable to come up with any of the requirements so it was decided not to post the bond as is due to her record of not appearing in court. We then issued you a refund in a timely manner so you can get assistance from another company.

I have attached the refund receipt from August 10th at 11:55 AM that was processed back to your VisaCard ending in 9420, which was the same card that we processed the original payment from at 6:32 PM on August 9th. The refund was processed on  our end in less than the 24 hours that we assured you.

Please present this to your bank and let us know if anything else is needed from our end.

Employee filed affidavit against my son with the court stating he was no show to checkins. Which is a LIE.. Ruby in legal dept at atlas dallas office is RUDE! She lied many times to cover up their mistake. First she said my son missed his court date. Second she said he missed appointment to hire lawyer. Thus resulting in revoking bond. The only reason for affidavit **** is that client is no show. My son went EVERY SINGLE TIME TO CHECKINS.HORRIBLE BUSINESS
