    Buckner Barber School is an accredited and licensed institution. We strive to uphold all standards and regulations set forth by all governing agencies. 

    BBS practices and follows all curriculum guidelines set forth by the ***** ********** of ********* and Regulations. In both the cosmetology and barbering programs, students must go through a process of first learning the basics before they are allowed to practice on live clients. 

    For our students and patrons safety BBS practices a kit policy that aligns with these policies. Upon starting the program, students are issued a Theory Kit on their first day of class that includes a laptop, textbook, school uniform *****, and access to our online learning platform. For the first 150 hours the student uses these resources to first learn the basics such as sanitation, understanding and learning implements and tools, and blood exposure procedures. 

    Once the student reaches their 150 hours they then receive their Practical Kit which includes all of their own person tools and implements they need for the reminder of the program and may begin to practice on live clients. Again, BBS follows these protocols to ensure safety for both students and clients. 

    During the admissions process, students are informed of our kit policy and a disclaimer is also on their Theory Kit list to remind them. 

    BBS would never intentionally withhold resources from any of our students. BBS is a staple of the community and we wish to continue to serve our local community in a positive way proving quality education for those wishing to enter the beauty and barbering industry.
