We paid $650 to rent an extension chord for two days at a recent convention so that our booth could have two lights. This is price gouging and a monopoly, and should be illegal. Even with the company paying for the expense, it felt horrible to proceed with the transaction knowing that there were no other options.

They can run a convention (in a manner of speaking), but they are less than honorable in their management and billing practices. As an exhibitor at their conventions, I can honestly say that the consensus of many/most of those who rent booth space from Freeman Company see them as absent of positive credibility and less than pleasurable to work with.Avoid their contracts if possible, satisfaction seems to rarely follow.

We've done that. We had to tear down a booth as the wife and mother of the exhibitors had to go into surgery. It was after hours and we had a long conversation with the security staff on duty that evening. Since then we have received notice after notice and calls from collectors for leaving the convention early. It's inexcusable.

Horrible company. On top of charging astronomical prices for everything. They're a monopoly. They have a strangle hold on the trade show industry. Literally every booth I do that involves Freeman. Results in damaged equipment. *** filed claims to no avail. The fork lift operators are absolutely careless. They stab, drop, run over cases with zero consequences. Their claims department is incompetent. Giving you the run around only to tell you to have your insurance company take care of their doing. I have a pile lighting fixtures and cases broken by Freeman. How is this business practice allowed. You make millions and can't so much as train your fork operators to properly handle equipment. Let's not even mention how horrible your labor is. My clients get charged a premium for your "technicians" and we get people with first day experience on our projects. You deserve a class action lawsuit.

Total rip off. Only using because we have to. Mask and gun business practice.

Freeman is a horrible company. They do not provide the services you pay for. We paid for storage services and they must have stored our pallet under a waterfall because they returned it to us with a literal lake of water on top. All our boxes were destroyed. They must have been in the water for days because they just dissolved off our pallet. It took our team ten hours to dry out our packaging and find new boxes to try and slap together to ship our booth back. They refused to refund our money. They turned down our claim. This is a bad business operated by bad people. Avoid using them if you possibly can. They will steal your money and demolish your property.

Be warned, I am forced to work with Freeman at multiple tradeshows and they do NOT secure your credit card information. On top of charging you for anything they want, at extremely expensive prices, without proof you actually used/received those services, they have access to your credit card information. They will use your card and steal your information. Multiple folks in our business have fallen victim to credit card fraud after using them. I just caught them manually entering my credit card information on services that weren't mine! They actually pulled my credit card number and used it fraudulently and now I'm fighting to get a refund. My best suggestion is to you use one card, with a low limit for anything Freeman related.

Freeman takes great care in respectful handling our customers' information, and our payment and invoicing processes are thorough and secure. In fact, complete credit card numbers and information are not available to anyone internally - payment information is directly submitted by customers to a secure third-party online payment portal. When exhibiting on events where Freeman is the official general contractor, customers are asked to place a credit card on file and provide authorization for future charges, which is outlined in the payment terms and conditions on our website. Should this customer require additional information about the services that were provided to her company or have concerns that need to be addressed, she may reach out to our Exhibitor Support team at (888) 508-5054.

If you are exhibiting at a trade show that is using Freeman to handle their services, be aware that they will charge you EXORBITANT prices. I knew this going in but wasn't prepared even then. The main thing is that when you agree to a service, use a virtual credit card with a cap on it because they will "provide" other services and hit your card with 10X pricing. When our frt company did not show up on time at the end of the show, Freeman "re-routed" our materials, without notifying us and charged ** 4X what our quotes were from other carriers. And we did not authorize the use of the credit card but they already had the number and used it. We are still trying to get something back. I don't mind to pay a fair price but it wasn't even remotely close.
