Family Gateway located at ************************************************************************************************* is designed to help families experiencing urgent dire homelessness and there are several ladies working there who have lied to me and a leasing office regarding transitional housing and assistance for my family. I was told that I would be considered for assistance moving into an apartment due to myself and my children having lived in a hostile dire environment for months I was housed in a ******* with my children for 3 days in February 2025 by Family Gateway and was told that they could do no more I continued to reach out and advised the organization that I have a job and was told that they have a program to help me find an apartment and that I needed to submit paychecks/W2 to prove that I can make 2 times the rent of the apartments for ****** and **************. Family Gateway provided me with a list of several apartments, I then applied for two apartments which I had to pay for the application fee and deposit a total of ****** in which I was approved. After several attempts via email **** ******* did not follow up or respond in a timely manner so I lost all of that money I was then referred to ******* ****** Miss ****** assured me that she would submit my information to the finance team and she did not after me having applied for a 3rd apartment being approved under conditions because the first two hit my credit and now at the 3rd apartment a 750 dollar deposit was required. Miss ****** spoke to an agent at the leasing office asking for W9 information to complete the process for the finance April 2025. After numerous amounts of attempts to reach Miss ****** without success via email I received a bill from the apartments Miss ****** responded she could not help because she advised that I had to be approved by the finance team. I spoke to Miss ****** and she never submitted my information after having speaking to the leasing office regarding the W-9 information, Now facing Eviction

Thank you for your message. Our records indicate that we did not receive, and actually still have not received, all of the documentation needed in order to process assistance for your apartment. We are bound by the requirements of funders as to the documentation needed in order to use their support. We have documented that we asked that you not move into the unit until the documents were received and assistance was approved, and that you verbalized an understanding that you should not move in until the paperwork was completed, as we could not guarantee any support until completion of the documentation. We have reached back out today to your apartment manager to see if they are willing to receive support from us to keep you in the unit and to alert them of what is missing in your file in order to make some financial assistance available. Please be aware that some managers/corporate owners do not wish to receive a payment from a third party, but we are still attempting to try to make that possible for you.We are very aware that in times of crisis it can be difficult to process information and to understand policies and documentation needs. Until we receive all of the needed documentation from the apartment manager and have them attest that they will accept a payment from someone other than the tenant, we can still move ahead. It will be up to the apartment manager/owner to take these next steps, and we stand ready to assist you if their documentation and approval to proceed is received.
