    I am deeply disappointed with the service weve experienced at Restland Funeral Home. The communication throughout the process has been incredibly poor. Weve been waiting over a year for a refund check due to an overpayment, and despite numerous attempts to resolve this, we still havent received the check.We even offered to cover the bank fees if they could process the refund via electronic transfer, given the complications of cashing international checks in *********. Unfortunately, this request was met with silence, and our issue remains unresolved.While some staff members have been helpful, the overall handling of our refund and the lack of effective communication have been very frustrating. It's disheartening to deal with a situation where the service quality deteriorates significantly when it comes to financial matters.I hope that Restland Funeral Home will take steps to improve their communication and resolve such issues more efficiently in the future.

    If i could rates this place below a zero, i would. this place only cares about money and not your loved one. i placed an order for a cremation bench back in 2017 and paid in full. told them to go ahead an order it so it can be here when the time comes. my dad passed away last August only to find out that nothing was ever ordered. asked them to order it and engrave it and today September 30 2023, we find that it was never ordered. we made several calls for an update, and was told that someone would call us back. No one from the establishment ever responded. i try to be understanding because of covid and the after effects but this is beyond understanding. there is nothing that can describe our pain and grief at this situation. we placed our trust in this place and this is how they treated us. this place has made me realize that everything is about making money and not about compassion when it is needed most. imagine if it was your loved one lost somewhere in their establishment and they decided that youre not important enough to even get a response when you try to contact them. beware of this place.

    Restland is all about the money. Once they've got that, your loved ones won't receive an ounce of respect. Nothing but dirt on my 4 family ******. And today, I went to put flowers for Mom's birthday and there was a tractor and trailer parked on her grave.

    I went to Restland to help out a friend who's mother was also a very good friend of mine and I could just not believe how these people were. You would tell them something, then because of their "filing system" it would take a while to process, after finding his mother under his father's name, they informed him that the costs were going to be higher, and we weren't going to fall for that seeing everything had been prepaid for. It seemed to me like all they were there to do was get the process finished and go on to the next customer. After finishing up the initial ********************, we were unable to drive over in the van, because the driver was afraid of getting COVID. After arrival at the grave-site I was surprised how much easier it was for me to find the grave-site than the funeral director and that was my first time out there. I find that quite interesting, what are they running if they can't find grave-sites or have people that can? As for the added expense, that didn't fly as we had someone with us that was on the ball with finance and knew right away that was a game they were trying to play while we were at a weak moment and it seemed to me (but I can't say for sure). Along with everything else, Restland made a point of telling us that a car would be sent for us to be at the service, and it wasn't even ordered very late, so here we are going to look bad showing up late for the service to our friends and family. This experience did not turn out well at all and I am not happy at all. I would seriously consider other places before going to Restland. In all of this I was contacted by the general manager through another review and asked to contact him, which after I had some free time I did, unable to talk with him directly I left a message that there were others involved in this discussion and we would contact him when we were able to. In the meantime, someone from Restland had been in contact with the son at least once or twice about something.
