      I am rejecting this response because:   The business claims one price over $1,000.00 for the signature, but claims it is another price under $1000.00 for the shipping.  I paid over $1034.00.  They can't have it both ways to save $0.50-$1.50 in shipping that takes weeks to deliver to *******  I will no longer do business with this company.

      Hello,

      We apologize for any miscommunication or missed expectations on this order. With regards to the signature confirmation, this is based off of the subtotal of the order - that is, before taxes. The subtotal for this customer's order was $987.92 - under the $1000 threshold, therefore, this shipped without a signature confirmation. The customer paid $46.55 in taxes, bringing the paid total to $1034.47. We attempted to reach out to the customer to explain this, but unfortunately, the customer was not able to stay on the phone for our clarification.

      Hello,

      We require a signature confirmation for all orders with a subtotal of $1000 or more. As shown in the breakdown attached to this response, the customer paid $46.55 in taxes, which put the total he paid over the $1034.47. However, his subtotal was $987.92, therefore his order did not require a signature.

      I am rejecting this response because:   You did require a signature because you counted the order as over $1,000 for that requirement but considered the order under $1,000 to save $0.50-$1.50 on shipping to ****** that took weeks to deliver.  You counted the amount of the order two different ways.

      Addendum to the filed complaint - This should have been included in my complaint.  When I contacted the company about cancelling my order I asked them if there was an appeal process.  They were adamant that their decision was final.  They gave me 2 choices to have my money returned.  Choice #1 was for me to send them a bank wire in the same amount that was debited from my bank account, and they would then fulfill the order and send an ACH back to my account for the "overpayment".  That, on its face is ridiculous.  Choice #2 was to accept the order cancellation and an ACH would be processed for return of my funds.  I have also learned that BGASC is a subsidiary of ** *******, another on-line seller of precious metals. My financial history is impeccable and my credit score affirms that. No lawsuits ever filed against me. No felonies. 42 years at the same credit union. Stock market investor since 2008. BGASC should be held to account for this egregious action.

      I am rejecting this response because:   When BGASC refused to fulfill my order I was given 2 choices.  Either send them a bank wire (a cost to me) for the same amount they had already received (at which time they would send an ACH deposit back to my bank for the initial payment), or accept an ACH for the original amount they received back to my bank and "call it even".  Boy, talk about putting a customer over a barrel.  I accepted my money being returned because I had no choice.  They enjoyed my money while they did a so-called investigation (which they never explained what that is).  I want monetary compensation for the loss of interest, and a specific explanation of why my order was refused.

      This is not out of date. The initial response I had gotten from the company, was basically to the effect, that it was not something that they felt was their responsibility. I don't understand how gold wouldn't be insured from door to door, and somehow that responsibility is mine when a package becomes delayed. At the end of the day, I never received the gold, and I shouldn't have to pay for something I never received. They claim that it was told me to me that there were only a certain number of days that insurance would cover items, but this is a flawed concept because packages these days become delayed and this is not taken into account in the way they insure their products, and also because it's not clear enough to the buyer that the responsibility is transferred to them after some magical number of days even if the package hasn't been delivered. I was told, just yesterday, (July 13, 2023) "The underwriter is still investigating your claim and has not provided us with any updates at this time." This is not resolved. I still don't have the items or clear resolution of outcome.

      After ordering 2 silver rounds they issued me a tracking number thats tells me they printed a label but that the item hasn't been tendered to the post office in 7 days. Was told twice someone would call back but had to call them and they tell me they have 30 working days to resolve this, not calendar days, WORKING days.
