When I had my consultation with maxim hair restoration, *************** had told me that I was a great candidate and had promised that I will have a 95% success rate in my hair restoration. After my operation and recovery, there was no follow up from the clinic. Now that the wait time is over for the hair to be permanently attached, the results that **************** had promised were nothing but a lie. The results from the operation were very disappointing, almost disheartening that my wife and I had invested over $8,000 just for it to have a 30% success. I had spoken to him concerning my disappointment and all he offered was a 50% discount for another operation or 30% off on some hair therapy. Meaning he wants us to pay more money for another procedure that will not work. Not only does he want me to go through the pain and recovery again but to pay a few more thousands. My wife and I have saved the money to invest in my hair restoration and if Dr. ******* told me that I was not a good candidate or that it will only give me 30% results I would have definitely have not gone through this hard procedure. It has taken a toll on my mental health and financially my wife and I feel like we were scammed. The pictures attached are the before and after.

    Business Response

    Hi Christi,

    Good morning. Happy Friday.

Please find below the response from **************** who treated the patient. Additionally, our Director of Operations, *********************, RN, spoke with ********************** and offered to re-treat him for free. He said he would think about it.

I'd like to clarify a few things:
    1) The patient's wife is posting all the bad on-line reviews, and filed the complaint to the BBB. It's not the patient's email address or telephone number.
    2) I did not promise 95% success rate to the patient--there is nothing written or recorded that can corroborate that statement
    3) The claim that the procedure doesn't work is contradicting what the patient told me at 16 month follow-up: he is pleased with the hair transplant results in the frontal scalp (we did the front and back during the same procedure).
    4) The pictures cannot be verified as to the *************.
    5) The patient was recommended/quoted 2100 grafts before the procedure, but he purchased only 1800 on the day of the procedure.
    6) He signed the Service Agreement for the procedure, and his signature acknowledged the no refund policy.

    Hope this helps.
