Sent an unpaid bill to a debt collector without actually mailing the bill to my address. When I called in they acknowledged that the bill was never mailed out and rescinded from debt collection. Probably worth implementing a policy where they check if the bill was mailed out before sending to debt collection.

US Anesthesia has been very difficult to work with! I promptly paid them when I received their bill, but now that I am owed a refund, I dont get any responses to my emails or phone calls. I have involved BCBS to help out with this as well. It has been 8 weeks since I paid them and I still havent gotten a full refund!

We recently received a bill from this company for my husband's surgery. I had paid all of his bills so I pulled my paperwork and sure enough we paid the original bill. I then called and e mailed all of my paperwork including the bank statement. They have been fourteen days into their investigation and still can't figure this out. Think twice before using their services! The doctors don't deserve the second rate support staff.

I gave birth in June of 2022, and was given a bill by USAP for $1500 that I paid in full on 9/6/2022. They then sent me another bill in February of 2023 for an additional $600 +/-. When contacted I told them I had paid my bill in full, they said they never received their payment. Sent them proof of payment from my credit card, then nothing, I checked and I was sent to collections, with no notice. When calling today they told me they sent me an email, text, and letter in MARCH that I would be sent to collections. No they did not, I do not delete ANYTHING, so they lied. Then they only sent me to collections this month. Good for you, but maybe try CALLING, or sending another 'text'. Really good at sending the billing texts until you start asking the why and then all of sudden they do not send you anything and then you end ** in collections. BBB needs to look into them.

I had a procedure done and services were billed for the anesthesia group. I had a payment plan set up and had been making payments for 8 months with no issue. Payments stopped being drafted so I contacted the billing office 3 days after my payment should have been drafted. I was told all accounts were transferred to Anesthesia Partners as of January 2023 and that is why my billing stopped with the previous billing group. I contacted anesthesia partners at that time using the number provided and was told they were unable to access any old accounts and to call back in a few weeks. I did so and was told the same. After 2 months or more, someone was finally able to pull up my account and I was told my balance of under $250.00 was written off by the previous account holder and I didn't have any further responsibility. 4 months later, I started receiving delinquent notices on that balance, so I called Anesthesia Partners again. I explained the situation and was told I would need to speak with a specific department about the old balance and to verify it was written off. I left a voicemail then and 6 times since with no return call. Months went by and now delinquent text notifications have resumed. I went ahead and paid the balance which I have no issue doing since it was originally owed. This company has no business managing patient accounts though and are completely incompetent. If you have an option of having a procedure using an alternate anesthesia group, it would be recommended to prevent yourself future headaches of having to deal with this group.

I would give this company zero stars if it allowed me to. I had two different procedures at two different facilities. One in 11/2022 and one in 01/23. I set up an auto payment plan for the 11/2022 bill. I never received any other communication by email or phone call. I never received a single statement or bill for the 01/2023 procedure. Yesterday I received an email from a collection agency. After several phone calls, I was told the bill from 11/2022 didn't draft because I never called back each month. I told her it was an auto draft. She didn't have anything to say after that. She also told me they sent multiple statements to my address for the 01/2023 bill which I find very hard to believe. The address on file was correct and I have lived here for 27 years. I paid the bill, but am warning others about this company. Poor communication and was unable to speak with a supervisor. I will take my business elsewhere in the future. This operation is a scam.

We have been trying for 4 months to get a refund of over $600 for overpayment for services performed during surgery back in April, 2022. When our insurance initially processed the claim, they said we owed $601.15 to US Anesthesia Partners. We were billed and paid this amount. Then 3 months later, ** Anesthesia resubmitted their claim. When our insurance reprocessed the claim, they determined that we did not owe anything, and paid ** Anesthesia over $3,000., which was the full amount allowable for the services provided. We have made multiple calls to their billing office, and they told us on multiple occasions that the refund was in process, When the refund was not processed, we then we emailed their Escalations Desk with the details, including the EOBs that showed that our patient responsibility was $0. Then after more weeks have passed, we get a call from an automated system, asking me to call them back. I am connected with a customer service person who says that their records show that we owe them more money!! This is despite the fact that our EOBs clearly show our patient responsibility as $0, and I have sent these to ** Anesthesia multiple times.

Having sent them EOBs that clearly show what happened, it is extremely frustrating that they continue to drag this out, and refuse to refund our money. I emailed their escalations team again two weeks ago, and have heard nothing further from them. Sadly, I must conclude that their actions are purposely dishonest.

I filed a complaint with the ** ************************** as they are in violation of ***** SB ****, which requires a medical provider to refund an overpayment within 30 days.

We rarely have choices of medical providers when faced with surgery. But if anyone reading this does have a choice, I recommend that you NOT use US Anesthesia Partners.

As of today, February 19, 2023, this issue has NOT been resolved. I was told on January 30 that I would be getting a refund via a prepaid debit card, as they claimed this was the only way they could refund the money owed to me. As of today, I have not received the promised debit card. So this issue is still open.

I believe I paid this company in full back in April 2022. A few months later, they sent me a bill for 100$. I called and asked how I could owe 100$ when my account showed a zero balance a few months back. They said I had a returned payment. I paid each time w my debit/credit card. I could not have a returned payment. I requested them to please send me an itemized bill and paper showing my payments. They only sent me another bill for 100$. Now, I see the many complaints against them. This has also been reported to my credit. I do not mind paying what I owe. They could not show me how I owed them this money.

This company is outrageous in money seeking even when they didn't provide the service. I had an eye surgery done at ************************************************** in ******* early this year. I was told by the staff of ** Anesthesia that they could not provide the service as I drunk water three hours before surgery as I should have had no eating and drinking after midnight. They talked with my doctor and wanted to reschedule the surgery. In order to make things easier to all of the doctors and staff, I decided to have surgery done without anesthesia and they all agreed. However, this company still sent me the bill to collect anesthesia charge weeks later. I tried to explain to the billing staff what happened and why I should not be billed. They would not listen and kept billing for the money and then turned the charge to collection. This is so unethical and against professionalism . I really doubt whether they are in medical services or to conduct fraudulent business to make money. Stay away from this bunch of swindlers!

Please forward the following comments to USAP: I have made numerous explanations about what happened and why it should not be charges to bill to USAP staff. Please check with the doctor who performed the surgery on me and verify the situation. Please correct your mistake and notify your collection agency to stop their efforts in chasing the money and to also withdraw the report to Experian.
