  Terrible experience with AccentCare with the care of my late father. When my father passed, the doctor wrote a diagnosis on the death certificate which my father never had. There was no mention of the diseases he *did* have, despite his immediate transfer from the ****** to their "care" with related discharge paperwork. When we explained this was not only alarming (Was medical malpractice involved? Did they properly monitor him while he was in their care?), it has also jeopardized survivor benefits and has unnecessary grief and pain to the family in a time of loss. Furthermore, when we reached out to correct the error, we were met with hostility. The funeral home also was also harassed by their incompetent staff, including a medical director who refused to show face, pick up calls, or return emails. Look elsewhere.

  If I could give AccentCare negative stars, I absolutely would. Their branch in ********* should be shut down or undergo complete restructuring and retraining of its PCA staff. Their director is condescending and unprofessional. The care providers are negligent, unsafe, and lack the appropriate training to care for individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairment. Their billing is disorganized and frankly, makes one wonder about fraud.

  Their care giving and home ***** services are excellent. However, I will not be using them again because their billing service is horrible. I have dealt with a bill from a 2/15/24 date of service. I signed up for auto pay. I got a bill a month later. Tried to call and pay, but they were having problems, called the next day and they took the information. Then got another bill a month later. Called again and they took the information and send an email receipt. Then today 5/23/24, I get a delinquent letter in the mail!! They said it was sent 4/12/24 and to disregard. The mail service is bad but not that badover a month to get from ** to **??Even though the caregivers and home health are excellent, I wont use them again because of the billing service.

  They lied to my brother about what would happen in their facility if he agreed to go. Destroyed his whole months supply of medication he was on for years, only to then leave him without his meds. Ordered them for him, then let them lapse and he has been withdrawing twice now because of these people. He's stage 4. Says medication lasts 10 days, when it only lasts 7.5. He has been without for days with promises of "it will be here today," for several days now. One of the nurses aides they sent out said if he can feed himself, he can bathe himself. Asked for a different nurses aide, only had one come out in 2 weeks time instead of twice a week. They come in and take complete control over you in every way and too bad if you're not happy about it.

  This company is not what it seems not professional, as employers, or for client services, there is several issues going on within the company from management, back office and billing.

  Irresponsible to patient care.Patients have been left all alone when an aide was to be in attendance.People have gone hungry & were left in their own filth for days!!SHUT THEM DOWN !

  Extremely unreliable and unprofessional. They don't keep appointments and will not call you to update. When you call to confirm or inquire why they didn't show - very callous and nonchalant attitude. Unless you want a relative to receive subpar service, DO NOT use this company- your life is in jeopardy!!!!!
