1 starThey did not show up for the inspection at the agreed upon time. I cancelled the service. Now they are arguing with me about refunding my deposit. This company is NOT an ENGINEERI NG firm, they are a REFERRAL SERVICE for a group of third party engineers that you've never heard of. DO NOT USE THEM!Review fromPravat D

1 starI hired Greenworks Inspection from a reference, but had a negative experience. They totally ignore customer concern from bad weather. On the day of inspection it was raining all day and they denied to reschedule without an additional penalty of $100, which appeared strange, totally ignoring the customer point of ******** to avoid the extra penalty, allowing the inspector to come in, but sharing this for others before hiring their home inspection services. Penalty for bad weather is customer unfiendly behavior and we should not allow to any service provider.Review fromJessica P

1 starMade an appointment for a mold inspection and then signed my contract and paid for it in full. I had multiple confirmations about my scheduled appointment, including a signed service contract, text message the morning of the appointment, and verbal confirmation from a female employee the day of my appointment. I also spoke with ******* the night before my scheduled appointment and he confirmed my appt and answered my service question. After waiting nearly 8 hrs for someone to show up, I sent a text message to GW and received a call back from *******, who initially said no appointment had been made and tried to schedule me for a later date. When I told him the inspection was booked and PAID FOR, he quickly got off the phone and said he would immediately call me back. That didnt happen, so I called again, but he was too busy to speak with me, so I insisted on a refund. Seeing as what transpired next, I hope that will actually happen and I dont have to file a fraud complaint with my bank Anyways, when ******* finally called me back, he tried to gaslight me by saying someone had called me the night before to cancel my appointment, but I failed to respond. That is a complete and utter lie because as previously mentioned, I spoke with ******* the night before and he made no mention of my appointment being cancelled. I also called GreenWorks the day of my scheduled appointment and spoke with a woman who said I had a missed call from them bc they were responding to my call the previous evening. She also CONFIRMED MY APPOINTMENT THAT DAY. When I brought all of this Michaels attention (i.e. calling him out on his lie), he stumbled over his words, attempted to back track, and continued with his insincere apology. I dont normally write reviews, but considering the amount of time and money they wasted and then trying to lie and blame me for their mistake, this is more than justified. Please find another company to do your inspection.Review fromJongmin L

1 starI got the "Greenest (including sewer and engineering inspection) package (spent over $1.2K)" for my inspection on Sep 13th. On the inspection date, I was notified by the office that there will be no other engineers other than my main inspector, *******. Usually there have been a separate engineer who did his own while the main inspector did a general inspection. Ok, it can happen I thought. On Sep 17th, I called office to make sure I will get my engineering report by the third business day, they said no problem. Since my option period expires on the same day as third business day, I called again to make sure this is still possible, and the office/engineering team said yes. At 8pm, I got a call saying it will be ready by 4th day. I explained my contract situation and they released my report almost midnight. No time to negotiate. When you are under contract, time is essence, especially on the option period expiration, and the firm made sure it will be ready to negotiate with the seller. However, I, by myself, also found out that the elevation survey missed the HALF of the property's elevation information originally measured/keyed in by my main inspector, *******. This is an unacceptable mistake as an engineer who determined his/her engineering recommendation based on the half of the elevation data. So, next morning, on Sep 19th, I tried to reach the engineering team to raise this issue and ask questions, but no one called me back still today on Sep 20th despite my multiple attempts (three calls, no one was available). Now it is 3:30pm on 5th day, still no one called me back. I tried to talk to their management team and left my message, but no one tried to reach me. For foundation repairs, it cost easily up to $30K. The engineering team was not able to apology or explain his recommendation with the client when it is needed the most.Review fromWendy P

1 starThis operation is a sham. I spoke to their Customer ********************** *** before I signed the contract to ensure that I would get a Structural Engineer's/Professional Engineer's (PE) technical opinion on the extent of termite damage to my home and guidance on ***airs since the damage included a supporting header/beam and framing structural damage on a 2nd floor. I asked for a sample ***ort beforehand to see what it might include. The first they sent was bad - stated there was damage to their client's home (a fire), where it was located, included a bunch of photos and their recommendation was "***lace and ***air fire damaged areas" - NO KIDDING! I told the *** my concerns, so she sent me a more "technical" ***ort with more technical descriptions and recommendations that were more useful for ***airing the damage - recs that a structural engineer would typically offer. So I engaged them to the tune of $625 having noted my concerns. They sent out a minion (knew nothing about assessing termite damage) to take a bunch of photos. I later got a formal fancy ***ort with alot of useless photos and a ONE LINE rec that essentially said "You have termite damage. Replace all damaged areas" - SERIOUSLY? I paid $625 for the obvious? I called and emailed several times before getting a PE to call me back and they asked me what I wanted changed. I asked them for more technical details on the extent of what should be ***laced - what is safe to retain and what isn't. They finally responded and revised the ***ort to state "***lace the entire beam and framing" with no guidance on what qualifies as "damaged". Useless! I called and emailed several more times and never got a response. By the way, they don't assign one engineer to your project - they have multiple engineers that know nothing about your project and you get shuffled around to whomever is available. You're basically paying for a fancy ***ort with useless recommendations and a PE stamp. Total waste of my time and money.Review fromHarrison W

1 starA Catalogue of Negligence and Incompetence If you're searching for a Mold Inspection company that epitomizes everything wrong with the service industry, look no further than GreenWorks Service Company. This organization sets a new low in negligence, incompetence, and disregard for customer well being. Heres a rundown of their appalling practices that should make any potential customer run for the hills:1. Ineptitude in Mold Inspection: GreenWorks Service Company claims expertise in Mold Inspection Services, but their work tells a different story. Upon Greenworks inspection, the home I subsequently purchased was supposedly "clear of concern", yet when a secondary company tested the same areas they found harmful levels of mold within the attic, crawlspace and walls. Their so-called professionals lacked basic knowledge of effective testing methods and failed to warn me of the high risk levels of mold in my home. A few months later and I am in the hole tens of thousands of dollars directly attributable to Greenworks incompetence. 2. ******************: The work performed by GreenWorks Service Company was not only ineffective but also sloppy. Mold-infested areas were in plain sight, with visible spores left in view if their technicians put forth even the minimum effort. It seemed as though their technicians were more concerned with ******* through the job than ensuring thoroughness and locating any potential threats. Conclusion: In conclusion, GreenWorks Service Company is a disgrace to the mold inspection industry. Their negligent practices, coupled with their complete disregard for customer satisfaction, make them a liability rather than a solution. Save yourself the frustration, inconvenience, and potential health and financial risks; steer clear of GreenWorks Service Company at all costs. Your home and your sanity deserve better than what they have to offer.Review fromLAURA G

5 starsI had a recalled Kobalt chainsaw, the blame is on me as I waited till my warranty was out of date to contact Greenworks for a repair. The notice was sent out at least 2, maybe 3 years ago! Now the part/unit is not made and a replacement not an option. I was contacted by a surprise email from ****** after an online chat! Greenworks replaced the chainsaw with a brand new Greenworks chainsaw. Have not tried it yet. I feel they went over and beyond - they could have said I was to late as the warranty was out of date by 4 days (which was brought to my attention). Just want to thank them again.Review fromOleg K

1 starI ordered rush home inspection 2 years ago, but didn't get in on time. I wrote one star review on ****** and forgot about it. Couple months ago somebody from GreenWorks left a comment in ****** review, and suggested to make a full refund, but later they deleted comment and didn't issued full refund.Review fromamanda m

5 starsToday ******************** did a home inspection of a new construction home that Im about to close on. To say that ****** was thorough in his work today would be an understatement. ****** spent over 3hrs thoroughly assessing the foundation, roof, attic, electrical, plumbing, hvac, windows, irrigation, water drainage, appliances, faucets, shower head, outlets and countless other cosmetic findings. After explaining his inspection and his findings and answering all my questions quite patiently, he provided me an 80 page final report with many many pictures. Today I really felt like someone was looking out for MY best interest. I couldnt be more pleased with ******* inspection today. Thank you Greenworks. I hope I never have to need a home inspection again but if I ever do, I would not hesitate to call Greenworks and ****** again.Review fromLong P
