      This company is full of scammers. I spoke to a representative to advised how much I needed to pay to resume suspended service. I paid the amount and service was restored, for a few hours. Then my account is CANCELLED and all of a sudden, I need to pay more money to restore the service. Their reps are scammers who tell customers whatever to get their money and then cancel the service. I will NEVER recommend them and will provide my opinion every chance I get.

      This company is a scam. We switched to a different service provider at less than half the cost. Then I double checked to ensure that phones were paid off before we switched. We showed a zero balance on their website. Then they sent us a statement showing we owed them money for our devices. $577 balance. When I told them what I saw with my own eyes. They hung up on me. Worst company ever!!

      Provide wrong information and sale wrong product. They will sale business products knowing you don’t own a business( looks like a scam) The monthly bill they show you when setting up an account and the actual bill is way different and NO one department takes your complaints seriously.
      The worst customer service providers and company I have ever dealt with.

      I had been quoted one price for internet then the first billing cycle it went from 50.00 to 86.64 a month to get them off my back I disconnected service and shipped back modem now they want 86.46 haven't used them since 2/27/2025. I paid 103.00 in march2025. They turn me over to collections. I've been on phone with them 4 2 hours with no compromised.now they want 84.64 not happing.. I sent modem back 7/23/2025 . I was in hospital from a heart attack now keep getting harassing emails and phone calls from them. Then they turned me over fir collections

      Long time client of ATT, direct TV, I have a check go missing I find out I have delinquent charges and balances..No problem these things happen call my bank they provide me with Proof of payment statement, call Direct TV and are UNABLE to access the form needed to prove payment...speaking with multiple people in billing/loyalty department they give me the website it does not work from my end. I ask can you send me the form through email...NO is there response I go in circles I end up talking to upper level management in billing department with a heavy accent, but prior I'm connected to agent who directs me to a unsecured web site then ask me for my banking account and routing #....I immediately denied his request then was transferred to his manager. Their service and communication skills are piss poor with a high degree of questionable business and security boundaries over the line.

      I’ve been a loyal AT&T customer for over three years, and I can confidently say this has been one of the most frustrating and dishonest customer service experiences I’ve ever dealt with.
      From day one, I was misled. I was told I’d be signing up for a three-month plan, only to later find myself locked into a three-year contract that I never received or reviewed — all handled over the phone with no transparency. I gave the benefit of the doubt at first, thinking it was a one-time mistake. But it never stopped.
      When I added a line for my wife, I was told it would be $16/month, with taxes and fees bringing it to around $20/month, and my total bill would remain under $195/month. That sounded fair — until the bill arrived. I was hit with a $45.99/month charge, along with an activation fee and nearly $50 in unexplained charges. Not once was this disclosed upfront.
      Every time I call for help, I’m met with the same script: “I’m sorry for the inconvenience, but here’s a new deal to lower your bill — just sign up for AT&T Fiber and you’ll get a discount.” This is not customer service — this is bait-and-switch sales manipulation to keep people stuck in the system.
      I don’t mind paying a fair price. But what I will not tolerate is being lied to repeatedly, charged hidden fees, and having my trust taken advantage of. I work in customer service myself — I know what clear communication looks like, and this is not it.
      If AT&T truly cares about customer loyalty, here’s your chance: respond publicly, not with another generic “we apologize for the miscommunication” message. After five separate incidents, it’s not miscommunication — it’s a business model built on misleading practices.
      I will be leaving this company soon unless something real changes. No more empty apologies — fix your policies, fix your transparency, and fix your values.

      We had service for years then decided to cancel b/c they no longer had specific channel we required. I tried to cancel service and they pushed hard to just pause so I did that. I set a reminder and went back to check to cancel and when I logged in it said the service was already cancelled.
      Then a couple months later we got an email while on vacation (so we missed it at the time) stating service would resume and two days later while still on vacation we were charged $93.41 for the following month of service.
      I called and said we didn't want the service and apparently the problem was that we somehow had two accounts so the one I had confirmed as cancelled was not the right account. I explained this all to a supervisor and requested a refund but they refused even though we are only ~3 days into the month and never used the service and never even intended too. He was rude and said he couldn't do anything about it so we are stuck with nearly $94 charge for something we didn't want and never used.

      AT&T MADE CHANGES TO MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT NOTICE. THEY DIDNT SEND I NOTICE NOR CALLED ME TO ADVISE OF CHANGES. THEY BACK DATED THE CHANGES AND DIDNT NOTIFY ME IN WRITE TO ASK IF I WAS IN AGREEMENT. AT&T REMOVED A DISCOUNT FROM MY SERVICES AND DID NOT EDUCATE ME OF OTHER OPTIONS TO AVOID PRORATED FEES AND FUTURE CHARGES. I CALLED PRIOR TO THE BILL PRINT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE DENIED ANY PENDING CHANGES TO MY ACCOUNT EVEN ADVISED ME TO REMAIN THE SAME UNTILL SOMEONE CONTACTS ME ABOUT A POSSIBLE CHANGE. I CALLED AGAIN AFTER THE BILL WAS ISSUES AND IT TOOK SEVERAL CALLS TO GET AN ANSWER CHOOSE A NEW PLAN AND ASKED FOR AN ADJ AND INWAS DENIED AN ACCOMMODATION

      ???? The customer service with AT&T is awful. The representatives are sounprofessional, and rude. I've been with them for 20+ years and I'm ready to switch. No stars if I could!!!
