Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. Im pretty sure copart is a scam. No way it's a legitimate business. I signed up 6 months ago and I am still unable to bid on any vehicles. They keep saying "1 more business day", and the problem is never resolved. Every agent I get on the phone tells me it's a different reason. Supposedly there is no supervisor that you can talk to. Not a single document that I have submitted ever gets accepted. I call almost every single day and 6 months later, nothing has been fixed or resolved. And they refuse a refund. Hands down the worst and most pathetic/unprofessional "business" I have ever dealt with. I am 99% sure it's just a scam to rip people off.

My car was towed and stored at Copart. The bank informed them that I was coming to get the car. They took my plates off the car and lost them. They were rude, nasty, and inept at problem-solving. I was given the run around, hung up on, and nothing was done to help me. This is a shady company. But who cares about customer service anymore.

Absolutely the most unprofessional place Ive stepped foot in, my car got taken to one of co parts locations LAST August along with the title for the vehicle, a month after the vehicle and title were dropped off I heard nothing then I called and they said I never turned in the title so after a 9 months going back and forth with my insurance company and co parts, a gentleman from co parts finally looked in to it and waived all the storage fees, finally going into the co parts location in ********* I arrived with all the documents I needed to retain the vehicle there was one guy ** a forklift I asked for help he said I need to make a reservation I made a reservation even though I was just on the phone with co parts and the lady had told me I needed no reservation I can just go right up to the office. I didnt want to are argue so I just made the reservation and show the worker he said perfect so I showed my ****** the reservation and left. after an hour my ****** called and said hes canceling I asked why and he explained the worker watched him sit there for over an hour and didnt help and then when the ****** asked the worker whats taking so long the worker stated we never made a reservation so I went back for a 2 second time with another ****** and they said they will be closed by the time I get there being its 4:30 and I would have arrived at 4:50 latest with my SECOND ****** and they didnt close until 5:00pm. Today I have wasted over 300$ and 5 HOURS. Of my time not including the other 9 months this is beyond unacceptable I honestly hope no one ever gets there property stuck at one of your guys JUNK facility. Half of your employees are lazy and uneducated and lack communication very bad you guys need to get it together this is ridiculous. Im not even a ***** this in the first review I have ever written it goes to show you had unprofessional and lazy you guys are as this is coming from a 18 year old. Get it together

My Copart Member ID is *****. Im extremely disappointed with how Copart handled my account. I submitted all required documents on June 2, 2025, as requested to lift my account suspension. I was told it would be reviewed in 24 hours, and then asked to wait another 48 hours. Its now been several days with no update, and no response to follow-up emails.Customer service gives vague answers and no one can say when or if my account will be reactivated. Meanwhile, the vehicle I legally won was relisted. This is unacceptable. If there was a problem with my documents, Copart should have verified them before allowing me to bid and purchase a vehicle. Suspending the account after the sale and not resolving it shows poor business practice.Copart needs to take responsibility and communicate clearly with customers. I still have no access to my account or the vehicle I won. This experience has been frustrating, time-wasting, and unprofessional.Rajagopalacharyulu ******* Member ID: *****

Imagine knowing the ins and outs of a company and having a solid background in the field ~ only to not need contacted regarding your multiple applications for employment. There is no direct person to speak with. There is no legitimate explanation. This company is constantly hiring but yet cant seem to call anyone back. The reviewers are terrible by current or previous workers but I believe in giving companies the benefit of the doubt. Again, I know the field. Truly just sad.

I buy about 40 cars a year from Copart. Most I have no problem with however I bought a 2015 Silverado there that they said didn't run and the odometer they marked a 0 and said not actual miles. I knew from where it was damaged that it should run and drive so I wasn't afraid of it. So I bought it and when they brought it out they set it on my trailer and I thought I would try to start it. I turned the key and it fired right up and I scrolled the info button on the dash and it had ****** miles. Why did they say it didn't run and the miles were 0 and not actual?? That's not representing the vehicle very honestly. I know from the past working with Copart that its a one way street and it all flows their way. The will not take responsibility for anything! Should you buy a car there? Most times you will be fine but when you aren't don't think that they will make it right, its just the chance you have to take.

Unfortunately, the vehicle information was not provided for a full research to determine the vehicle/lot referenced. We appreciate your purchasing volume and understand the concerns you've raised regarding the listing details for the 2015 Silverado.Copart and its vehicle sellers expressly disclaim the accuracy or completeness of any and all information provided to Members regarding vehicles, whether provided in written, verbal, or digital image form (Vehicle Information). Terrible customer service. Just horrible. The people who answer the phone - do not care about speaking to people with respect. They do not carry complaints over to managers as requested even though all calls are recorded for quality assurance and training purposes. There should be equitable consequences to businesses that do treat customers fairly.

Buyer beware and stay away from Copart. They will advertise vehicles with a "clean title" but do your research. I was about to purchase a vehicle using the "Buy it Now," feature that was listed as "clear title" but upon further research, the title in fact was "scrapped" and the vehicle is unable to be titled in any other state. I simply asked for a refund on my membership because the only reason I signed up up for a membership is to purchase this particular vehicle (LOT# ********). Had I known the title wasn't clear, I would have never ordered an inspection report or signed up for a membership. My repeated request to resolve this issue were denied. I will NEVER work with this company again. Member number ******.

Mr. ********** We apologize that your experience with Copart was less than expected. Customer experience is very important to us. In reviewing the lot referenced, this vehicle was assigned to auction out of our Mebane, ** location on 2/19 and again on 2/26/2025. Our records do not indicate this vehicle having a "scrapped" or junk title. The referenced lot was advertised and sold on a clean South Carolina title. Unfortunately, the referenced vehicle would be only available to dealers as state law prohibits clean title vehicles being sold to public members. Additionally, our records indicate your membership with Copart was initiated on 7/08/2023 and is not eligible for any membership refunds. Thank you, Copart

Copart, I understand that your website has the title as clean, but I am telling you it is not, per the carfax. The lot did not have the title in hand. The vehicle has a scrapped title. If I could post the *** and screenshot of the carfax here, I would. I am posting so others are aware of your misleading information regarding car titles.

If i could leave a 0 star i would. My car was towed to copart without my authorization. While in their lot, which one i couldnt tell you because i was lied to about where my car even was. One said lansing, the other wayland. Car then got towed to a repair shop. After it was deemed a total loss recieved my car back. While in their lot my car was gouged down the whole side, inside parts where broken, my key was destroyed, and things stolen from my vehicle. They tried to negotiate some sort of resolution, after they admitted to it happening on their lot. They offered to buy my car for 1200 that booked out at nearly 8000. They refused to fix the situation. If i could afford a lawyer i would have sued. I will NEVER buy or sell or have any dealing with this company. Absolute trash.
