I am rejecting this response because:
Why they think they went "above and beyond" delivering all injections plus 3 additional treatments at no charge is false. The statement that my shoulder feels great is a complete lie! They offered to "REDO my shoulder injections because I complained that it did not work. I was informed they fired the ** that originally did them and was told she didn't inject them correctly so the offered to redo my shoulder for free ONLY if I agreed to pay for both of my knees to be done. I agreed which was a total mistake.
Again. this business is NOT *** approved and my complaint is about their false advertisements that they continue to run on multiple media platforms. Their response is a complete lie regardless of what I signed.
***** *** and ****** ****** are scam artists!

Better Business Bureau Team,
We have reviewed this complaint against QC Kinetix on behalf of patient ***** *****. QC
Kinetix went above and beyond for Mr. ****** delivering all required treatments plus 3
additional treatments at no additional charge. Mr. ***** received a total of 13 treatments
between the dates of May 2022 through April 2024, with treatments for his shoulder and both
knees. Mr. ***** only paid for 10 treatments, so we have already provided 3 additional
treatments for Mr. ***** at no additional charge.
On January 9, 2023, it is documented in our medical records that Mr. ***** reported his
shoulder feels great after the last injection. A full year later, Mr. ***** stated on January 4,
2024 that his shoulder is better than ever. Mr. ***** also shared in March of 2024 that while
on a work trip, he was dancing too hard and hurt his knee and had to have it drained and get a
MRI.
Before starting treatment both times, Mr. ***** signed agreements and medical consent forms
that state I am aware that the practice of medicine and surgery is not an exact science, and I
acknowledge that no guarantees have been made concerning the results of this procedure.
Additionally, Mr. ***** signed these agreements which state I understand that this
treatment is not reimbursed by insurance and that I am solely responsible for payment. I also
acknowledge that once the first treatment has been completed, there are NO REFUNDS given.
Mr. ***** has received all contracted treatments and completed care at QC Kinetix satisfied
with the care he had received. We do not find any circumstances in this case that warrant a
refund.Business Response

If they feel so strongly about their product and procedures why did I end up having knee surgery and shoulder replacement surgery after these injections? Clearly they do NOT stand behind their product they only want money and have high pressured sales tactics.
Business Response
Date: 01/11/2025
Mr. ***** says their response is a complete lie regardless of what I signed. QC Kinetix has responded with factual documented proof, not angry accusations and name calling.
On May 13, 2022, Mr. ***** signed consent forms for $8,000 to treat his left shoulder with 5 treatments. The consent forms clearly state
I understand that PRP and A2M have not been authorized by the *** for the treatment of my condition
I am aware that the practice of medicine and surgery is not an exact science, and I acknowledge that no guarantees have been made to me concerning the results of this procedure.
I also acknowledge that once the first treatment has been completed, there are No Refunds given.
On January 9, 2023, it is documented in our medical records that Mr. ***** reported his shoulder feels great after the last injection.
A full year later, it is also documented in our medical records Mr. ***** stated on January 4, 2024 that his shoulder is better than ever.
On July 13, 2023, Mr. ***** signed consent forms for $12,000 to treat both his knees with 6 treatments. Once again, Mr. ***** signed these consent forms that clearly state:
I understand that PRP and A2M have not been authorized by the *** for the treatment of my condition
I am aware that the practice of medicine and surgery is not an exact science, and I acknowledge that no guarantees have been made to me concerning the results of this procedure.
I also acknowledge that once the first treatment has been completed, there are No Refunds given.
QC Kinetix has delivered a total of 14 treatments for Mr. ***** on the following dates:

I am rejecting this response because:
Again, they have high pressured sales tactics and they want you to agree on the spot to their treatments. It's funny that they believe in them so much but yet won't give even a partial refund. Clearly it buyer beware here and the business could care less about any of their patients, its all about money.
Again..my angry name calling is also a fact!
I will continue my efforts to make sure others don't fall into this scam.
I hope they continue with this F rating that BBB has given them that should speak volumes to a business owner but again, clearly they don't care.

I am rejecting this response because: Base on that we have become financially unable to make payments on the loan due to my hospitalization and my chronic health conditions and not knowing what the money was actually used for since that we only had one treatment we got in where our own blood was Used and the fact that what they use doesnt requieres anything else other than the patient blood, if there were to add anything they will always have it and the bank has not ideas or records of what the $20.000 has been spend on Every time I call the bank Im told that they are waiting on QC Kenetix to Cancel Annul the loan. Every party included has been cooperative except QC *******. We have been asking for the cancellation/ annulment of the loan acc# ********.
We are catch in the middle of trying to come to a resolution on what corse of action to take.Business Response

Better Business Bureau Team,
We have reviewed this complaint against QC Kinetix (*******) on behalf of patient ***** ******. Ms ****** inquired with our office about a cancellation due to her unexpected medical situation. We are very sensitive to the ability to safely administer treatment, and did review her case for possible medical disqualification. Our providers have determined that there are no contraindications preventing her from successfully receiving the treatments contracted at this time.
In addition, part of the sum she is referring to in this complaint is for her husband ****** ********. ** ******** has decided that he will not continue treatment. Ms ****** and ** ******** are aware that we have a no cancellation policy that states if a patient decides not to complete the full treatment program, there will not be a refund of their payment. We have included a simply written two paragraph Financial Policy, (page 9 of consents) that we have our patients review and sign when they start with us in order to avoid any confusion or misunderstanding.
The combined treatment protocol for ***** ****** and ****** ******** (husband and wife), totals $23,000. They financed $20,000 through a 3rd party lender. In this case, they will still have an outstanding balance with our office of $3,000. It is generally our policy to send remaining balances to collections if these balances are not satisfied within 30 days after the patient cancels. We have decided not to pursue the remaining $3,000 for these patients, which is an exception to our normal policy. I am enclosing the signed documentation for your review, showing that both ***** ****** and ****** ******** were aware of our policy, and accepted the terms of this agreement with signatures.
Please let me know if I may be of further assistance in this matter
Best,
****** ******

To whom it may concern BBB
I saw the response from Mrs ************* question is she saying they are not going to pursue the $3,000 she says we owe. Now when she mentioned that the $20,000 are to a third party when I call the bank Im told that QC ******* is the provider they have to cancel or Anule any future treatments for the cancellation or annulment of the loan to take place is she saying this is cancelled, annulled ? That has been the main conversation on this whole complaint beside that Me getting sick wasnt planned. For the record we only had one painful treatment. We/I refuse to take any further/future treatments. I need to get back to taking care my health issues and the pains that Im dealing with from the treatments I got from QC Kenetix. Thank youBusiness Response

While we sympathize with ********************** situation, QC Kinetix is unable to make exceptions to our established financial policies. As previously communicated, Ms. ****** was fully informed of our financial terms prior to commencing treatment.
While it is true that we utilize a patient's blood as part of the procedure, there are also necessary medical supplies and resources required to properly prepare, administer, and secure each treatment. These materials are integral to ensuring the highest standard of care for our patients.
Ms. ****** has referenced a third-party lender, Proceed Finance, in her request for a refund. We would like to clarify that *************** operates independently of QC Kinetix and, as such, they are not authorized to act or speak on our behalf in this matter.
Given the circumstances, we must respectfully inform you that no refund will be given. We appreciate your understanding and remain committed to providing quality care to all our patients.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: My medical condition has not changed in fact in the last 3 months I've recieved 3 blood transfusions due to being a chonic anemic. The attachments that have been provided have all been from accredited doctors, professionals in their perspective fields and as in previous emails I was not expecting to get sick nor to this degree, but we have no true control over these things. We are not asking or looking for a hand out, but we are looking for what is fair and just.
We have no qualms about paying for treatment(s) administered at the cost of the $3,000 that was mentioned by QC Kinetics, but at the same time we would like to know who pocketed the additional $20,000 from a loan that we continually call about, but Case Managers and other representatives of the financial institution (*******************) have no idea ( according to them) where it has gone, nor have they had any response from QC ******** when asking about where this money has gone, how it has been used, etc.
We've spoken to the financial instution several times and now we are asking for a further investigation into where these particular funds have gone; I'd like to re-iterate that we are not looking for some kind of hand out or sympathy, because we are more than willing to pay for the treatment that we recieved.
At this point we don't have many options or help in this matter, so we are forced to go as far as this has to be taken to rectify this particular issue.

Believe the BBB about the unsubstantiated claims in this companys advertising. One might want to try it anyway thinking there is no downside except the payment for a treatment. That would be a mistake, you might come out worse instead of better like I did. I have osteoarthritis in my hip and back, the clinic in **********, ** treated my back but the Dr. cranked so hard on my hip joint that it caused more pain. The back treatment also left me with more pain than I started with. They charged me $3900 upfront for three treatments (they initially wanted $14000 upfront) and rushed me to sign a release that included one statement about no refunds along with pages of jargon about possible side effects. The Dr. ****** the release too and claimed they had discussed everything with me. Nobody ever discussed the no refunds policy with me. That was buried in a release form titled Consent to Medical Procedure for Platelet-Rich ****** (PRP) and Alpha-2-Macroglobulin (A2M). I will not go back to this clinic because they were unethical in not explaining their refund policy and their treatment hurt rather than helped me. I received one treatment out of three so I would like 2/3 of my $3900 ($2600) . I cant imagine anyone giving them $14000 and getting no refund. Awful.Business Response

We have reviewed this complaint against QC Kinetix (Dallas) on behalf of patient ***************************. Please be aware that ****************** is not now, nor has never been a patient of QC Kinetix (Dallas). I believe this action should be directed to QC Kinetix (Pleasanton, **) where she obtained treatment as stated in her complaint. QC Kinetix is a franchised business, and we do not have any records in our Dallas offices of this patient to address this complaint. I believe the proper course for this patient would be to contact the BBB in **********, **. Please let me know if I may be of any additional help in resolving this matter and email me directly with a response. We appreciate all you do!

I am rejecting this response becididause: I did this twice on my cell phone so I could add attachments.. I am not like ********* to have people do the work for me. So I will print the photos of the notes I filled out and mail them tomorrow, as 04/29/2023 would be the 10 days to give you a response, not today 04/28/23. dont want to take another 30 minutes, as that would be 1 1/2 hrs of time... I am physically hurt and am going to mail response. I tried to call today but the 5pm closing time, said,,,, we dont take calls after 4pm and it was after 4, which can be verified on my cell.
I reject as the statements that someone wrote were not all true. too hard for me to type.... painful............
r not all factuall
hoto showing how the Cartlidge will grow back. Sadly, not so. The radio spots state, the procedures only bring back tissue. Well, I needed, muscle, tendon, ligaments and tissue on my left hip and Cartlidge in my knee. I wrote Mr *** at the office and Dr E, but they just ignore me. I stopped immediately after being put in pain and said Dr E couldn't ever touch me again. I contacted Proceed Finance and said this is fraud and I have been hurt by Dr E and have QC K refund the $12,000. Nothing so far. I feel discriminated against wholly. I have paid lots for PT and Dr Bills. I have Had MRI's and Xray's also. There is so much more, but I am going swimming to get stronger. Sorry I do not know how to upload to laptop, as only photos on cell. let's see if this reaches you now.....
I was in pain and vulnerable and the office staff, not even Doctors, took advantage of me into this state for $12,000. I saw a man with the same concern only charged $11,000.. The orotho Drs. sent me to PT. This has helped some and we have learned in NO WAY would stem cell have helped. My right kneecap was crooked. Since PT and Dr ******* put a Hyaluronic injection in, it should get better in time. I had no Cartlidge. Dr E must have jabbed my sciatic nerve, as every time I lye down, my side burns and atrophies extremely down to my left toes. I have less feeling in my ring left foot now.Business Response

On 4/30/22 we provided ****************** a partial refund.
******************** presented to QC Kinetix in Dallas ***** on 12/11/2021. She was initially evaluated by one of our Physician Assistants. ****************** complained of chronic left posterior hip pain/lower back pain after being adjusted by a chiropractor. She also complained of arthritis in the right knee which affected her mobility. She was treated previously by an orthopedic surgeon with hyaluronic acid injections into the knee, but the patient stated that it did not alleviate her pain. After a thorough exam by our physician assistant, the patient was diagnosed with right knee patellar chondromalacia and chronic left sacroiliitis. A treatment plan was recommended for ****************** which included intra-articular injections of Platelet Poor ******* Platelet Rich ******* Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate, and Dextrose Prolotherapy.
****************** was given a quote for her treatments, and she elected to finance her treatment through ***************. Treatment was initiated after informed consent was obtained and signed by the patient (all copies included). Our PA provided an injection of Platelet Poor Plasma into the left SI joint and the right knee without complication.
The patient returned to our clinic on 12/30/2021 for her second treatment. This treatment was performed by another PA at our office. No complications were noted during this treatment and the patient tolerated the procedure well.
On 1/14/2021 ****************** returned for her third treatment. ************** met the patient for the first time on this date and he performed her bone marrow aspiration. Prior to the treatment, ************** sat with ****************** to discuss the process and to review the informed consent she had previously signed. To control pain during the procedure, we use Gebauers Pain Ease topical anesthetic skin refrigerant and then inject skin and subcutaneous tissue with 1% Lidocaine without epiphrine. During Ms. ******** procedure, 20ml of Lidocaine was used and we were able to achieve excellent local anesthetic effect. She tolerated the procedure well and did not have any complaints of excess pain during the procedure or shortly afterwards. The bone marrow aspiration was concentrated and then injected into her right knee and left SI joint by one of our physician assistants. Our notes document that the patient tolerated the injections well without complications or excessive bleeding.
On 1/29/2022 ****************** returned for her scheduled follow-up visit to receive treatment with Platelet Rich ******* ************** performed the injections during this visit and the patient did not complain of any excess pain or other concerns at that time.
On 2/11/2022 the patient began sending a series of emails to Dr. ****** work email address. These emails were difficult to follow and rambling, but he could extrapolate that she was complaining of increased pain. He responded the same day offering her an appointment for the following day and offered to send a prescription into the pharmacy for her. She responded to the emails and refused the prescription and appointment. ************** responded by offering her the option of walking into the clinic at any time and we would fit her into our schedule.
On 2/12/2022 ****************** emailed again stating that she was feeling better after she was able to pop her left hip.
Starting on 2/16/2022, the patient began emailing ************** regularly stating she had increased pain. He responded and requested that she be seen in the closest urgent care or ** for evaluation. Additionally, he extended multiple offers for her to walk into the clinic to be seen at any time and we would be happy to fit her into our schedule. She refused to go to the ** and wanted to hold off on making an appointment to follow up with him.
Her emails regarding pain became more frequent and she continued to ignore Dr. ****** invitation to follow up with him in the clinic for further evaluation.
On 4/29/2022 ****************** called our clinic and stated she would not complete her final treatments with **. At that time, she was pending 3 Dextrose Prolotherapy sessions. ************** called her that same day to discuss, but she did not answer, and her voicemail was not set up to leave her a message. At that point he decided that the best course of action would be to refund her for the cost of the prolotherapy sessions and to release her from further care. ************** documented all of this in her chart and wrote a formal release from care letter that was sent via certified mail to her address on 4/30/2022. She was also given a refund of $600 for the treatments that she cancelled.
After receiving the formal release from care, ****************** continued to email **************. The emails became more threatening, and she stated she would complain to the medical board, BBB, and other ************** unless we provided a refund for the full amount of her treatment. In summary, we completely disagree with Ms. ******** allegations. We offered to see her for evaluation multiple times to address her concerns, and she refused. We also recommended that she be seen in the closest urgent care or ** for evaluation of her pain, and she did not take Dr. ****** advice. The patients treatments were performed competently, and without complications. Gebauers Pain Ease Skin Anesthetic is part of our regular process of pain control in addition to injectable lidocaine. ****************** had this skin refrigerant spray used prior to her injections on each occasion, and she had no complaints. Additionally, she did not scream in pain or ask ************** to stop the procedure during the bone marrow aspiration and returned without hesitation two week later to continue the treatment process. Finally, we provided a refund of $600 for the treatments that were cancelled. This is an appropriate amount of money that was refunded based on the cost of the 3 sessions of Dextrose Prolotherapy.Customer Answer

Customer reviews posted prior to July 5, 2024, will no longer be published when they reach three years from their submission date. Customer reviews posted on/after July 5, 2024, will be published indefinitely unless otherwise voluntarily retracted by the user who submitted the content, or BBB no longer believes the review is authentic. BBB Business Profiles are subject to change at any time. If you choose to do business with this company, please let them know that you checked their record with BBB.
As a matter of policy, BBB does not endorse any product, service or business. Businesses are under no obligation to seek BBB accreditation, and some businesses are not accredited because they have not sought BBB accreditation. BBB charges a fee for BBB Accreditation. This fee supports BBB's efforts to fulfill its mission of advancing marketplace trust.
