    Responding to Mr. ******* complaint. Honestly we can not afford to build a deluxe pool with a budget of 56k, not at these days. I know it was not Mr. ******* fault on the materials prices that went way too high. on the proposal that we did prices it was under that budget initially this year; example; a travertine used to cost $21 and the same product NOW IS $50. That's 29 dollars more. that's just an example. we were just wanted to build his pool but we needed to adjust the price so we can get started. We are sorry but we don't want to start a project and just leave it unfished. we have completed pools that were abandoned by other pool builders, that's not fair for either party. Now on the 10k home owner paid. that was to cover architect plans, city charges and permits from electrical and plumbing fees. There is no way we can get those funds back.

    This is not a complaint about increasing prices.

    This is a complaint about unfairly keeping a deposit.

    I was unable to accommodate that rise in price, and requested the return of my deposit, minus any actual costs accrued as a result of this project. I also requested receipts or invoices to support the deductions for fees or architect costs. Despite repeated requests, they have not provided me with proof of costs or the balance of my deposit. I am asking for a refund of $10,000 less any reasonable costs that can be proved.
