    On Dec. 13, 2023, I ordered a watch from Breda. I paid to receive the item in 3-7 days, in time for Christmas. On Dec. 14th, I received an email saying that my item had shipped.ORDER NUMBER: BW295219 ?ORDER STATUS: SHIPPED SHIPPING CONFIRMATION Order BW295219 has been updated with new shipping information.Your order has shipped via **** with tracking number:9400111206217435231006.Please allow 24 hours for tracking number to update online and show movement on the package.According to the tracking number, my package is still sitting in a location in ****** *****. I have emailed the company twice about my order and have not received any correspondence. There has been no explanation offered or offer to make it right or get me my product.

    Upon investigation, we identified the issue with the shipment delay after our holiday break on January 1st, and on January 8th, ****, we promptly sent out a replacement. We are pleased to confirm that the replacement was successfully delivered on Wednesday, January 10th, ****.

    Received my watch from Breda and it was so hard to read the time that I wanted to return it. Packaged back up EXACTLY as it had been shipped. I received an email with a notice telling me that the watch was damaged and they wouldnt accept the return. This was clearly not the watch I had been shipped and Ive seen multiple accounts of this happening with others who have bought this watch. Its a scam. Im sure Breda will respond to this note saying they are sorry but cant accept damaged goods as they have with others, its sad that try to uphold a lofty idea of their poor customer service.

    Hello, 

    I will be providing further information on this matter. Our records show that on October 9th our returns team sent an email to *************************** letting them know that their watch arrived with scratch on their watch face and band making it impossible for us to accept and put back to inventory for resell. There was no prior communication from ****** expressing that this is how their watch was suppose to arrive and our returns portal states that customer service team needs approval of ************************ sent without plastic wrappings.

    There was also no follow up communication from ****** expressing his concerns so we were never made notice of how he felt after the rejected return was received.

    I am rejecting this response because:   
    this is simply not correct. Leaving out the fact that the didnt get my name correct in their response to the BBB, I did respond to their email they sent on the 9th and Ive provided screen shots of the emails in question. Beyond that, they sent pictures of a damaged watch to me. Never pictures of packaging (which was returned exactly as I received it). They are taking advantage of people.

    I purchased a watch from Breda for my daughter for Christmas. She didn't like it so we returned it (with prior approval via email from Breda) in the original packaging. It was never worn other than to try it on and put it back in the packaging. Today we received an email with photos of a completely damaged watch. They are claiming that this is the watch we returned. They are saying we do not get our $ back and that they are sending back the damaged watch. I looked online and apparently this is something they are doing to many people. This company is scamming people who purchase their products. Either they send out damaged pieces that are not returnable or they claim the returns have been damaged (when they actually weren't). There is NO WAY our watch could have been damaged during shipping like the photos show. The watch had a cushion on the inside - protecting the interior - as well as a cushion on both the top and the bottom of the clamshell box that held it. This company is committing fraud.

    We are very sorry to hear that this was your experience with Breda. We sincerely appreciate you letting us know that we didn't meet your needs and hope you will give us the opportunity to make this up to you.

    At the time of this incident, our team had been in touch with your daughter to honor a late return exception. This order had already been 2 weeks outside of its extended return policy during her initial reach out. There was no prior communication that the watch had arrived damaged or that it would arrive in worn condition which led to us rejecting your return once it had arrived.

    There are several factors that could have lead to this happening, one being that the watch could have arrived at you in this manner without your knowledge. There is also a possibility that it was tossed around during transit. Often times this can be a result of it being shipped back to us without its plastic covering.

    We definitely should have asked your daughter to send in photos before she shipped her watch back to us which we take full responsibility for.
    We have since then honored a refund for your order which should have been credited back to your account on the 19th of February. I've also attached a screenshot confirming this.
