      On May 12th, 2024 we purchased a ring (size 8.5) from Aydin's Jewelry for $211.50 (Order #AJ6129). It arrived and was the wrong size for my husband. We were getting married in a few weeks and needed to have a replacement ring of the right size quickly, so we ordered a second ring (size 9) on May 16th. I emailed ******* customer support about initiating a return for the first ring (size 8.5), and they sent me a form to complete, told me how to package it, and advised me I was responsible for the shipping charges. On May 27th, I sent the ring back via Canada Post priority ********************** to their company address in *****, exactly as listed on the return form. According to the postal service tracking information it was successfully delivered and returned on May 30th, 2024. I did not receive a refund to the **** as promised for the returned product. Despite following up on June 7th, and August 10th, no one from their company responded. It has now been over 6 months and I have still not seen a refund. This is fraudulent/negligent business behaviour, and I am requesting your support in getting our refund. Attached is a PDF of the necessary details. Thank you - ****** ******

      In December of 2023, I contacted Aydins Jewelry through their Etsy storefront to make a custom order for two wedding rings. They took my order, which was fulfilled through email, and I received an order number, AJ5489. Over the next few months, I was able to contact the owner through **** for updates. Around March 2024 timeframe, they said that the rings themselves were done, but they had been held up in shipping from their manufacturer. Over the next six months, after repeated attempts to get a status on my order through ****, email, and their official website chat, I only received two updates, stating that they were still held up in shipping. 5 June was the last time I received a status with this information. I got a reply on July on the chat service, but they only asked if I was waiting on a status for my custom rings, and when I replied "yes" a few hours later (I was working and could not respond right away), they did not reply after that. Every week I have sent a request for a status via the chat. Ive sent emails, I've sent Etsy messages, I've sent messages via their online website messaging, and now that it is September, almost a year later, I feel like I am being ignored and I have gotten scammed.

      We have informed the customer that the rings she wanted to custom make had issues and the manufacturer we were using to make the rings did not deliver the product. Despite multiple attempts to contact the manufacturer, we were unsuccessful. We assured the customer that we would issue a refund without any problems. However, the ******* system will not allow us to process the refund as the order is past the 180-day limit. The customer needs to provide us with an alternative method to send her the refund amount.

      I ordered a custom ring on May 25th through Aydin's Jewelry for $864.00. On the ad on the website it indicated 2 day shipping, but on completion of my purchase, on my emailed receipt, it stated expected delivery between 7/9 and 8/26. I have messaged multiple times, as well as called and emailed, and had been told it is usually between 6-10 weeks (as shown in attached email), then told for sure by 12 weeks. They sent me a much cheaper ring in the meantime at their expense, however as I've told them, I really don't have much use for it, and need the ring I ordered. I was told last Tuesday 8/20, that it would be sent overnight and I would receive it on 8/21, but that someone would have to sign for it. I paid a friend to sit at my house to sign, but no ring was delivered, and I had not been sent any shipping info. As of today, I have still not received shipping info, or any idea of when I will receive the ring, but am told to be patient and that they are unable to issue a refund. As of today, it has been 13 weeks, and 3 days since placing the order, and have not received the item. I would like it canceled, and want my refund issued to the original payment method.

      We informed the customer about a delay in the production of the 14k gold custom ring she ordered, giving her a time frame of 8-10 weeks. However, the production took 13 weeks. During the waiting period, we provided her with a wedding band worth $170 as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience, but she never returned it to us. When the 14k gold ring was finally delivered, we did not request for her to send the ring back and allowed her to keep it as a gift.

      On the day she filed the complaint, we asked her to wait a few more days as the ring had already left the manufacturing department and would be delivered soon. If she had waited just 2 more days before filing the complaint, we would have received the ring from the manufacturing department. Some rings take longer to produce due to the inlay material being harder to acquire. Unfortunately, she went ahead and filed a dispute with her credit card company and received a refund.

      I believe this complaint is baseless, and it seems like she just wanted a refund for the custom-made ring she waited 13 weeks for.

      I am rejecting this response because:   I actually very much wanted the ring I ordered, but after being told multiple times it was being sent, then not receiving it, yes I filed complaints, as I will not pay for something I never received, and got tired of the empty promises of tomorrow, next week or a few more days, as it was already past the promised time. Also, you did not let me keep the ring you sent as a gift, you had demanded that I send it back, until I provided the emails of you saying it was a gift. I have received my refund from my credit card company as again, I NEVER received the ring I ordered. I placed my order 5/25/24, so yes, by the latest date promised of 8/26/24, I gave up hope of ever getting it, and was done with the empty promises to deliver.
