  Complete failure with their so-called "24-hour emergency service."! My water heater began to leak late night April 12 and had already flooded my washroom and was flooding the kitchen area...I had used Dad and Son's before so I called their 24 hour number, and go the runaround. My calls went to voicemail time and again, and I never spoke to a human! I had to call 911 and have the fire department shut off my water, which by now had flooded my washroom, kitchen, living room and front entry hallway! I had call a cleanup crew as well. This could have all been avoided if Dad and Son's had responded to my call, but they didn't, or wouldn't. I will never use them again nor recommend them to anyone!

  AWFUL doesn't even begin to describe my situation with ********** Plumbing in ******, **.They (one of the sons - not ****** the owner) told me to submit my service problem with insurance because it was a fairly pricey situation (The plumbing alone was just under $2,500). So I did.Once they invoiced me, there was a line item labeled FLAT FEE for services.Insurance asked for itemization of what that meant because it was very very generic. ********** (****** the owner) would not itemize, so insurance wont pay any portion of it, when some of their services should indeed be covered. Insurance even admits portions of their work should be covered - but without itemization, they can't authorize any money to be paid out on my claim.Simply looking for how many hours of labor, not just the word labor. How much is labor per hour? How much were parts and what were they? What was the fee associated with cutting 2 holes in my sheetrock to find the leaking pipe, etcI tried several times to get ********** to itemize over a 5 week period. Phone calls and text messages sent to them. I was willing to pay for their services, but I wanted to run it through the proper channels of insurance and let them pay out some of it.This situation ended with ********** (****** the owner) leaving me a harsh/threatening voice mail that he was going to put a lien on my rental house unless I paid up and that he was going to implement late fees. Nevermind that I was the one trying to get the issue resolved.I'm having no problems with flooring, painters, construction company when it comes to insurance - but ********** is not willing to work with me at all. ****** the secretary says she isnt permitted to itemize my invoice. ****** wont let her and her hands are tied.Bad Bad Business practices and I will never use them again. I wish I could leave a NEGATIVE 5-star review.Read Yelp - they have bad reviews there too.

  I can not say how much I appreciate Cooper for his skilled work but his morals and how he has treated my elderly parents. I have to be on full alert these days because a lot of people can't wait for an opportunity to take advantage of seniors and I will never be concerned with Dad and Sons.
