Last year I had a treatment done at Texas Vein Experts. Before the treatment, my right leg had visible circulation problems but the left one did not. When they did the ultrasound they told me that my left leg had internal circulation problems, so on January 25, 2022 I went ahead and began the treatment on both legs. I had my last appointment in November and by the end of it I had paid a $2,800 deductible, while my insurance had paid a cummulative of around $10,000. On that last appointment they did one last ultrasound to check for open veins and make sure that the treatment was successful. They told me that everything on my right leg was good, that the veins were already closed and that it could take a few months for the veins to completely dissappear. They also said that I needed more treatment on the left leg, but at this point my left leg looked a lot worse than when I first started, so I decided not to continue with more treatments. Before the treatment I had zero visible veins on my left leg, but by the end of the treatment I had many visible veins. After a few months went by, my right leg did not get better and more vains started to become visible again. I went back to the clinic in May and they did another ultrasound which confirmed that the vein was still open and needed more treatment. They want me to pay for the extra treatments, which means I would have to spend $3,000 for the deductible, however I shouldn't have to pay for them to fix their mistakes. I wanted to finish the treatment last year after I had already paid the deductible, so that my insurance could take care of the rest, but they insisted that the treatment was successful and I just needed to wait. I want them to finish the treatment without expecting me to pay more for what they should've already done.
