      The optical department here is the worst experience I've ever had with getting glasses. What I really want to complain about is the fact that they gave me scratched glasses due to poor inspection, then charged me $35 for a replacement when I finally noticed and came to complain about it. On top of that it took from January to the end of February for me to get my glasses and I called every week multiple times a week starting at 3 weeks to check up on them. Every time they told me they would call me back but never did. I had to go to the office in person and wait half an hour to speak to someone to finally learn that the delay was due to them losing my glasses.

      The optical department is a ***** at University Vision Centre. The medical staff is great and would have given them a * ***** but the optical department is ruining their reputation. I placed an order on July 11 and on July 12 I was called because the optical person had forgotten to take pictures of my glasses… fine, I sent those in. I called back on July 29 to check on the status of my glasses and come to find out the order has been on hold all this time because of some missing pictures. I had mentioned pictures were sent in weeks ago and minutes later the person said that actually the mistake was on the supplier and they did not have my frames after all and I would have to go in a pick new ones and wait all over again. I was never contacted at any point that my order was on hold. As a matter of fact, I went in person for an annual check up and inquired on my order and I was told it was processing. **** **** ******** ************ ***** *** **** **** ************* ** *** ********* *****
