      Summary of Complaint South TX Towing (March 21, 2025 ******** **)On March 21, 2025, I contacted South TX Towing for assistance after my vehicle became stuck in sand near ********************************************************************. I explained my location, sent photos, and asked if I could be assisted without moving the car, as the terrain looked difficult. They insisted on proceeding and confirmed the price would be $500 due to the conditions.From 1:30 PM to around 7:00 PM, I waited for their service. Multiple messages and payments were exchanged: $45 and $87.34 via Zelle, and $500 via card. However, the towing team was unable to recover the vehicle. One of their own trucks got stuck, and they said they needed another one. Meanwhile, they told me to wait, insisting they would complete the ********** approximately 7:00 PM, a private landowner helped pull my car out in just five minutes, without any assistance from the towing company. After this, the towing company still charged me a total of $700, including a receipt that falsely claims a completed service.When I tried to explain that the service was never performed, they became aggressive, accused me of theft, and threatened to report me to the police, even though I had fully paid. They claimed they had video evidence and blamed me for being on private propertyeven though I was guided by my Amazon work map.Despite not fulfilling the service, they refused a refund and pressured me with legal threats.       Hello...

       First, We would like to apologize on behalf of South TX Towing for any inconvenience this may have caused for Mrs. ********* We are truly sorry. 

      I have gone through Mrs. ******** complaint/attachments made regarding the service call on March 21, 2025. I also have gone through everything our driver has that was relevant to this matter. 

      Unfortunately... I wasn't there to witness how and what service was actually provided and what word exchange was made between our driver and Mrs. ********* I do know that we "South Tx Towing" our number 1 priority is to make sure we leave with our customers satisfied. Our goal is to provide great,fast,and most importantly safe service that is requested from us. If we have a customer that isn't satisfied then we want to make things right.

      With that being said, I see that Mrs. ******** is requesting a refund of her money back in the amount of $600. Mrs. ******** disputed the charge of $500 on March ******* and was refunded her money back on the mastercard ending in 6548. I can give her back another $100 to complete her request.

      On 01/15/2025 Beto was hired to move my truck he let it fall off wrecker claimed he would replace truck with newer one and bring one he totaled to me after eight weeks he said he was not going to do anything wouldnt give insurance information even when found myself was told not insured as wrecker and I am screwed he has been very nasty since said he put at storage yard if I want it back come get it but have to pay 25 dollars a day he has no remorse after totaling my ****** dollar truck and basically was joyful when telling me his insurance company will not cover my truck very bad person sure does not deserve a a t rating on your site

      On 01/15/2025 we did receive a call from Mr. ******** requesting tow service for a box truck, our dispatcher asked Mr. ******** to send us pictures of his box truck and asked him if it was empty or loaded. He sent *********** and said it was "1/4 full of boxes" ( see pic). We sent a driver out to pickup location here in ***********, ***** and was to drop it off at mechanic shop for repairs. Right before our driver got to the mechanic shop the tow straps busted and the box truck rolled into a light pole and damaged the truck. At the time, we couldn't understand how or why this happened when our driver always secures customer vehicles.We contacted Mr. ******** and let him know what happened and wanted to make things right being that we were responsible for his box truck (at the time). Again we didn't know why this happened. We made an agreement with ***** and that was :

      ** replace his box truck w/another box truck.                                                                                                                                                                                            ** was to put his ramp that was on his box truck onto the replaced box truck( requested by *****)                                                                                                          ** Deliver replaced box truck and his box truck to him in *******,Tx ( requested by *****)

      Again we just wanted to make this right. It was going to take a little time for us to follow thru with this agreement, we did stay in contact with Mr. ****** As work was being done(removing ramp) from old box truck we had to open the back sliding door and saw that this truck was fully loaded and had a full sized refrigerator located at the end of the truck, and at that all the weight was at the end of the truck. (see pics). 

      At this time, We contacted Mr. ******** and let him know what we discovered and explained to him that he told us the truck was just "1/4 full of boxes" and if he would have been honest with us we would've went a different route and used a flatbed truck to tow him due being over the weight capacity on a regular tow truck, which would have had a different rate. We felt that Mr. ******** was not honest knowing that the rate would've been higher using a bigger truck.We also explained to him "thank God" this truck didn't roll into another car and hurt someone.Things could've been a lot worse. We did explain to him after finding out this we no longer feel 100% responsible
