On Jan 8th, 2023 I contacted Monai ****** and requested information on her waiting list for custom prom dresses. I provided my daughters prom date which was April 29th, 2023. She advised we needed to pay $100 consultation fee which was paid on Jan 17th. Our first virtual consultation was Jan 28th. At that time we did measurements and she explained that in order to start the dress we would need to pay $400 deposit after the consultation was finished. The total cost of the dress would be $900. I paid a $500 dep and paid the bal of $400 on February 20th. Ms. Monai promised to have the dress completed by March 18th. When we contacted her on several occasions she promised to show us the dress virtually prior to sending it and this never happened. As we got closer we reached out via text and email she kept delaying us and subsequently we never received the dress. When my daughter text her on April 22nd she stated the dress would be ready by April 25th. Thereafter she ignored our attempts to receive the dress. I would like a refund of the cost of the dress we did not receive. My daughter did not go to prom as a result to her actions since she wanted the dress she designed herself.
