  On December 5, 2024, I was involved in a car accident and hired McCormick Law Firm for representation. I saw numerous doctors between December 7, 2024, and April 20, ******* first conversation with attorney ****** ***** was on May 19, 2025, where she confirmed her return from maternity leave and requested I sign a consent to settle document, which I did the same day.On June 5, 2025, I learned the insurance check was received May 22, 2025, and cleared May 30, 2025. Ms. ***** stated she was having difficulty negotiating medical bills with the hospital due to authorization issues. I contacted the hospital and confirmed they had authorization since January 16, 2025.On June 18, 2025, Ms. ***** informed me the ** bill reduction was rejected. The hospital clarified to me this was due to incorrect documentation from the firm. I relayed this information to ***************** 27, 2025, frustrated by the delay in resolving the initial ** bill, I emailed ****** ********************** expressing my disappointment, highlighting that it was the first bill and not part of their network, thus warranting immediate attention. Mr. ********************** responded immediately, stating, "If you want less money, I can pay you out quickly but if you want more I need your patience." He followed up 15 minutes later with a breakdown, offering to lower his fee by $1,000, and stated a check could be mailed June 30, 2025, upon my agreement and signature.On June 29, 2025, I signed and returned the release of funds, expecting the check and tracking information on June 30, 2025.I sent follow-up emails on July 2, 2025, and July 11, 2025, as I had not received the check or tracking. On July 11, 2025, I finally received a ***** tracking number via text, showing the label was created that day for a two-day delivery.The check arrived on July 14, 2025, dated July 11, 2025.

  Subject: Formal Complaint Against McCormick Law FirmDear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against McCormick Law Firm regarding their handling of my legal case, which began on August 9, 2023. I have experienced significant issues with the firm's lack of professionalism, failure to close my case, and delay in releasing funds that are rightfully mine.The lawyers at McCormick Law Firm have had the settlement check from the insurance company intended for me for over four months. Despite numerous inquiries and follow-ups on my part, they have repeatedly given me excuses, failing to provide a clear timeline for when I can expect to receive my payment. They have also gone back on their own word regarding when the funds would be released, further adding to my frustration.Moreover, the lawyers have been extremely rude and dismissive of my concerns. Their lack of understanding and empathy for my situation is unacceptable, and their behavior has only added to the stress of an already difficult time.This ongoing delay and unprofessionalism have caused me significant financial hardship and emotional distress.   This company will not pay me, they never answer the phone or no one's in the office. They took thousands of dollars and never gave me what I was awarded in a lawsuit. The lady at the front desk can never find anyone. I've never talked to my lawyer on the phone or even seen the person. Worst law firm ever. Don't use them.

  I KNOW THAT THEY ARE NOT WHAT I THOUGHT ***** IS HOLDING MY MONEY TILL I SIHN OFF ON THEM TAKING ALMOST ***** OUT OF MY MONEY WHEN THE GUY HIT ME WAS DRINKING,HE WAS IN MY LANE ALL HIS FAULT. ***** DID'T EVEN READ THE REPORT I HAD TO TELL HIM ABOUT THAT ALSO, HE GOT ALL THE PAPERWORK HANDED TO HIM HE MADE A FEW CALLS THATS IT AND DIDNT WANT ME TO TAKE IT TO COURT SO I DIDNT AND I SHOULD HV AND NOW WANTS ME TO TAKE LESS THEN I AGREED TO NO THIS WRECK GOT ME WHERE I'LL NEVER HOLD DOWN A JOB AGAIN HE SAID CAUSE I DIDNT WANT TO HV SURGERY I WASNT GOING TO WIN WELL IM NOT HV THE SURGERY BECASE THE OUT COME ISNT THE BEST SO I PASSED SO HE SAID I WILL HV TO SETTLE

  I hired them for a minor traffic accident and immediately had second thoughts. I attempted too part ways before they invested any time in my case and was completely ignored. Took two months to get me into a chiropractor and they rarely let you talk to anyone your trying to talk to. Insurance ended up settling for ***** dollars and he said give him time so he could wave the medical bills. I called the following week and got stonewalled all for him to contact me through text saying that calling him repeatedly is not going to get him to move any faster. After that very professional text message he sends me the papers to sign that states I'm still paying the medical bills and they will cut me a check for 760 dollars. So they take over 50 percent for making six phone calls not allowing me to fire them.

  They settled my case then held onto my money for almost 3 months. I finally got my money after sending a certified letter stating that I would be filing a complaint with the state bar. *********************** its who I dealt with. She stopped responding completely when asked about the check I should be receiving from them.

  Scamm artists never returned calls, said they had an office in *********. This was non-existent, beat ** out of our money and gave ** crumbs. Sent ** to a bogus chiropractor and still left me in pain and they kept saying I had low impact accident. My car has substantial damage. SCAAAMM .

  Was horrible they never kept in contact took all my evidence pictured text messages all the proof from the accident... and refuse to give them back they left me with a ***************************************** with no nothing at all... there a joke waste of my time and evidence and now how am I supposed to get it back croocks a shame....
