On Oct. 23, 2023, I had several items in my home cleaned. One item being my $2000 area rug which they almost ruined. We have dogs so I like to have it cleaned often. Dalworth has been my go to as they were just out 6/28/23 to clean the same area rug. I like it to be cleaned frequently. This time around has been a nightmare. Upon Dalworth leaving my home, they left a horrific odor throughout my home. I spent over $1000. I contacted Dalworth to advise them of the odor in my area rug and how it spread throughout my home in hopes that they would fix & make right. They returned 10/27, sprayed a deodorizer which took about 5 minutes & left. The same tech. ***** informed me if the odor in my rug does not go away I would have to have it cleaned in house for an additional cost at my expense. Needless to say I was not happy. After finally getting to speak to a manger that was a no show to inspect the issue he stated a refund would be provided via phone. Due to odor they caused, I had to contact another carpet company to try and fix the damages incurred by Dalworth which cost me an additional ******. I contacted Dalworth to advise them of the new charges I had to pay & asked that they cover the cost in the amount of $600. They of course refused. Do not recommend

      Hello,

If you could provide more details i'd be happy to get this resolved.  What name was the rug cleaning order booked under, I do not have and ********************* in our system which leads me to believe Dalworth Clean did an "in home" cleaning of your area rug. We are a separate company and operate as such but I can take your information and submit to management for further review.

When the plumber discovered where the water leak was we proceeded with insurance notification. The adjuster came and reviewed the situation and recommended we contact a restoration company. Dalworth Restoration came to mind and the adjustor said it was fine they had used them before. Within hours they were there and started setting up equipment. The supervisor used his meter and found the areas where the water had spread under cabinets, walls and flooring.. It was a lot larger area than expected. More equipment was brought in and set up. It took several days before the meter showed clear and the equipment was removed, except for one area. They tarped the flooring and left one dehumidifier working until cleared. The technicians that came each day always set the time with us and called before they arrived.Everyone was vert polite, and cleaned their areas while working and when they were through.I hope I do not have to call them again, but I would if needed!

Dalworth was called to my apartment complex to help with cleanup after we were hit by lighting. They removed my belongings to be cleaned on 3/30/23 and I waiting till 5/3/23 to have ALL my belongings returned once they received All payment. This whole process was a nightmare as I waited at least two weeks for my insurance to audit Dalworth on what they did and the cost. I completely understand waiting for insurance. But when my belongings are returned damaged, missing items, and brought back someone elses belonging, we have a huge problem! My belongings were with Dalworth for over a month and my mattress was filthy. They fixed the issue with my mattress immediately and that was good but why was it returned dirty? What I have an issue with is not being able to get my belongings back sooner and insurance paying them over $10,000 for a lousy job on keeping my items clean and free of damages. Upon moving my furniture back in, screws were missing from my adjustable base and I found them in the stairwell and in my bedroom. Their employees were barely able to move my furniture in safely. Hopefully someone with my last name has my other boxes. I watched the move out and move in process meticulously, and now have a good understanding how this company works. My belongings were literally held hostage until my insurance worked out payment with them and I find it hard to believe this was all because of my insurance when others in my company are waiting similar amount of time. My insurance agent told me directly their prices were outrageous. Do your research and read reviews. This was not a $10,000 job for cleaning a 1 bed, 1 bath 800 square feet apartment.

Hired for water mitigation and rebuild of kitchen. After two months they sent an abatement company who demolished my whole kitchen (aside from appliances). Then only after that told me they would repair/rebuild my kitchen. They almost didnt set up equipment to dry my kitchen because yes it still wet.

Dalworth Restoration did not return half of my restored/repaired items and after multiple calls the remaining items were not found or delivered. My only resolution seems to be in court. Do not use them

We had a water line to our commode break in our condo and not knowing any better, I called this company first thing rather than contacting my insurance company. They came out and immediately began the drying out process. They also took the liberty of starting cleanup in the condo next door which is not owned by us. After a few missed meetings at the property by their project manager and several days later, they finished their cleanup. We got a crazy high bill for $25,000. I turned this over to my insurance company and they rejected half of the bill because not only were the charges out of line with industry standards and excessive, they tried to include the repairs done on the adjoining condo which were not approved by anyone. Rather than contact me or my insurance company to discuss, they turned the remaining portion of the bill over to an obnoxious, threatening moron at a collection agency who probably had no better than a ninth grade education. Beware of this company and contact your insurance company first thing if you have flood damage. They work with reputable companies

We work with all insurance companies, our price list is based on a national standard set by insurance companies. We're sorry you feel the bill was too much but we document the complete dryout process with videos, mapping, dying logs, pictures and are happy to meet with any adjuster or work with any adjuster regarding pricing issues. You signed the work authorization that gave us the go ahead to begin work we do not begin any work without signed authorization. Not sure why your insurance company did not cover the damages but that does not mean you are not responsible for payment. We did provide a service for you that was authorized by you.

I gave you the ok to work on my condo. I did not give you the ok to work on my neighbors condo because I do not own it. Just because you document your processes does not mean your charges are in line with national standards which is why the insurance company rejected some of your charges.

For a demolition job by Dalworth Restoration at my 900-square feet condo that started on November 18, 2022, the total bill was slightly less than $20,000. Their detailed invoice included $2,272 for materials, even though they had provided zero materials and merely removed sheet rock and a carpet. They also billed $3,212 for the axial fans, even though their fans had tripped the breakers, and one third of their fans were not running. In fact, those fans were disconnected from the power outlets. I tried to contact Dalworth by phone and mail multiple times to discuss the bill. They did not respond. Instead they sent letters with past-due notices. In my view, this is a company that exploits people's misfortunes during an emergency. If you have a flood, find a different company for your clean up.
