  On 7/29/23 I attended a soccer match inside ************ in *********, ** where the company, CSD Framing, was hosting a silent auction inside the stadium for sports memorabilia. I signed up to bid for a framed *************************** ******************** that is said to contain an in-person autograph with a starting bid of $3,900. Since the business is located inside the stadium of the *************** I expect the items being auctioned by CSD Framing to be authentic and original. They tell me as I am signing up to bid that by placing the first bid, I automatically have the option to purchase the autographed jersey at the bid price listed on the sheet and I am given the option to take the framed jersey home in a box. When I get home and inspect the jersey with greater detail, the font used on the jersey for the number 23 of the supposed authentic jersey is not a true font ever used by the ************** I research using the teams official website which shows the jerseys worn by the franchise since its inception and nowhere in the history of the franchise nor during ********************** career does that particular font appear. See this website as proof. *************************************** The jersey has white letters for the last name and black letters for the jersey number, which was used during the years 1990-1993. The dead giveaway the jersey is fake is on the number 2 where the Bulls franchise has typically used a downward slanted font. This jersey sold by CSD Framing has a curved downward number 2, which never appeared on an authentic jersey (see uploaded pics for comparison). I have called CSD Framing for 2 days, tried every option on their automated phone system to reach a live person, sent emails, left a voicemail and have received no response. I am out $3,900 while this company sells counterfeit jerseys with the promise of authenticity. Since they havent answered me in a reasonable timeframe (48 hours) I am filing a complaint. I suspect fraud & intellectual theft

  Good morning. I received a call back from CSD Framing by a man named **** who confirmed my suspicion that the jersey I was sold is a replica and not authentic. He had me read the pink slip, which is included in the file images I included in this complaint, and I mentioned nowhere on the slip does it say replica. I told him it was misleading and it doesnt sit well with me that the sale documents omit the item is a replica. I requested a refund and he denied my request. As I pushed harder stating the documentation does not say replica anywhere and I was under the impression the jersey is authentic, I am not satisfied with how the presentation and transaction was handles. He said he would call me back but I did want to give the BBB the update that I was contacted and the business confirmed my suspicion.
