1 starJacuzzi dba Bathwraps dba Dietzler Ventures dba Bath ??? dba Dream Makers Bath and Kitchen dba Home Expo. Contracted with my 92yr old mother to do a tub to shower conversion, charging her 14696.00 with 12.9 % interest for 15 years for a total of 33k plus for a job that is only worth 5k and that's using retail pricing for materials. The paperwork appears fraudulent as my mother was on SSI and her monthly income was less than half reported. I have pictures of the before and after. A tub and fiberglass surround removed, a floor pan and fiberglass surround installed, diverter replaced, handrails and faucet hardware installed. No bench, no doors, no construction needed. An obvious case of Elder Abuse as my mother would never have agreed to such terms had she been of sound mind!Review fromMike M

I was told at the beginning of my transaction I would be given updates during the time my windows were being constructed. That never happened. I had to call and get updates. The lady I spoke with was a bit defenses. She kept throwing the fact that I signed a contract. All I was asking for was an updates like I was told I would receive. I had to make my first payment without any information. That was very uncomfortable. The installers were great.Expo Home Improvement

Hi ****,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're truly sorry to hear that you felt left out of the communication process. Its never our intention for a customer to feel this way, and we take that feedback seriously.
Our team, including your project coordinator ******* and team member ***, did their best to keep you informed and respond quickly once you shared your concerns. *** spoke with you directly to walk through your financing documents and project timeline, and we understand you were hoping for more frequent updates leading up to installation. After your call, we adjusted our approach to match your preferences for regular updates and made sure you were kept in the loop until your windows were installed.
Were glad to know the installation itself went smoothly and that you were happy with the team on-site. If theres anything more you need from us at this stage, our ********* team can be reached at ************.Review fromC. B.

On May 27, 2025, ******** *. from Expo Home Improvement visited my home to quote a Jacuzzi shower replacement. He presented payment options, including a 12-month, no-interest plan, which I was interested in pending financing approval. When asked to sign, I specifically asked why, stating I was only getting a quote. ******** assured me the signature was solely to confirm my selections, not to commit to service, and that any agreement would only occur after I finalized financing terms. He then took my picture holding tile samples, claiming it was for documentation. I provided my personal information, including my social security number, for a credit check, expecting to hear about financing options the following day before making any decisions. That evening, I received a 25-page email contract from "**************************" for the shower renovation. This contract stated I had entered into an agreement and had a three-business-day cancellation window, requiring written notification by mail or delivery to **************, *********** three hours away. I never received the promised call or email about financing.I consider this business practice deceptive. ******** *. explicitly stated my signature was not an agreement to service, yet an immediate contract was generated. My decision was clearly contingent on financing terms, which I had not received. This is a misleading sales tactic that tricked me into a binding agreement. I mailed a cancellation within two days, but due to the delivery time and distance, it will likely arrive past the three-day window. This experience has left me feeling confused and scammed. Expo Home Improvement's actions are unethical and dishonest. I refuse to do business with a company that uses such tactics to ****** customers into contracts they haven't knowingly agreed to, regardless of what they've made me hold for a photo or sign under false pretenses.Expo Home Improvement

Were sorry to hear this homeowner left the consultation feeling misled, as thats never our intent. Our goal is always to provide a clear, pressure-free experience where homeowners can explore their options and make informed decisions.
After reviewing the details of this appointment and the associated account, we can confirm that there is no active contract or obligation in place. While a credit application was submitted during the consultation, the financing was not approved, and no charges or agreements were finalized as a result.
The signature collected during the visit was to confirm the selected materials discussed. Not a binding agreement. No work was scheduled, and no payments were taken. The homeowner is not responsible for any cancellation fees and will not be billed.
We strive to make every in-home consultation respectful and transparent. If theres anything else the homeowner would like to discuss, our team is happy to speak directly with them.C. B.

Thank You for your response. No one never reached out to say that the financing was not approved, that would of helped out instead of only receiving a Contract in my Email. I'm glad to hear that the contract is not a binding agreement.Review fromTony Bob

We set aside 3 different Saturdays for this company. Them saying they would be here to give us an estimate. The first appointment they called and said the **** had an emergency and would have to reschedule. So it was rescheduled I believe the next Saturday or maybe one after. Anyway day or two before it, same excuse. Needed to cancel because an emergency had come up. Had to reschedule three weeks out. This time they didn't even bother to call. I called a hour and a half before they were suppose to be here because they had not called to verify as I was told they would. They said was going to get in touch with me a little later that the Tech had an emergency to come up, same B.S. I told them nobody has that many emergencies in row and there is something wrong with that. Told them can't believe how bad a company was being run. How we had set aside 3 Saturdays waiting on them and not to ever contact me again.Expo Home Improvement

Hi ****,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We understand how frustrating it must have been to set aside multiple Saturdays and not receive the service you expected.
After reviewing your appointment history and call records, we can confirm that our team reached out before each scheduled visit to let you know that your design consultant was unexpectedly unavailable. For the third appointment, our team was actively checking for a backup consultant when you called in. At that point, we informed you that the original consultant was still unavailable and the appointment would need to be canceled.
We understand how disappointing this was and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. While we wont be reaching out further, as requested, youre always welcome to contact us at ************ if anything changes.
Sincerely,
Expo Home ImprovementTony Bob

The appointment was at 2pm. I called them at 12:30, an hour and half before should have been here and is when was told they were going to call a little later to let you know not coming. Said this without remorse or apologies. Not sure really were going to call at all but to have not called much earlier. That was ridiculous! They knew well before that time someone wouldn't be here because anyone they use is hours away. As you can see from their reply they still give no apology. Matter of fact I had not heard anything from them in 3 weeks and called a couple of days before that last Saturday appointment just to check on them. They seemed surprised, asking who had set up that appointment. After I told them, he mysteriously said "Oh ok we will be there at 2pm". As we know now that never happened. I just hope other people don't go though this unprofessional behavior with this company. Makes you wonder what kind of quality of work they provide. I can only say they will never hear from me or any friend or family of mine.....Review fromMichael S

Expo home does not pay their subcontractors. This is a warning for anyone that works for or with Expohome. In particular, working with **** who is the manager from the Carrollton branch. After completing work as a subcontractor, he refused to pay for the work done. After completing all punch list items as request, he still refused to pay his bill.Expo Home Improvement

Cult like environment to work for. Director level management has their favorites and keeps those they dont like from opportunities of pay, breaking policy, overall treats the ones they dont care for like an out casts, kept out of company functions, advancement and meetings so you end up looking like you have no idea of whats going on in the company and its your fault. While favorites have unlimited opportunities to advance in pay, title, and are apart of every company function. The pettiness is as bad as you hearing your manager talk about you in the halls or with others in their office I heard it in the beginning about others and didnt think much of it but it stung and just was demeaning the day I walked by and it was about me.Expo Home Improvement

Hello,
Thank you for sharing this feedback. We are saddened to read this, and we wish you would have shared before departing as we really do appreciate feedback. Since you have already left us, the best way for us to respond at this point is to respond with kindness, love and humility. Expo Home Improvement is made up of people who strive daily towards love, integrity, excellence, and service of others. The truth is, we will never be perfect, nor will we pretend to be, however we will commit to striving toward these values because they are good, the right thing to do and we hope we left some small **** on your life for the better. We truly only want the best for you and wish we could have heard from you. The only comment I will make is that there is zero tolerance for any exclusion, demeaning or ***** talk, etc. Zero. In my 7+ years with the company I can attest to this zero-tolerance policy. If you would like to reach out and share more, our HR Manager or VP of Culture is open to listening. We would welcome the conversation.

1 starI had a tub to shower conversion by Expo Home here in *********** Aug 2023 with ******* shower from ******* I loved it at first But since then theyve been here nearly every month recaulking the seams at the bottom. In contact with project manager ******* the whole time. One time I inserted tissue paper pieces into the seam and water wicked out of the holes. So water had gotten behind the panels. One technician ***** that they sent out said the panels were just cut too short. He put more caulk, almost one inch thick. When I asked ******* for a permanent solution he sent tech ****** who said the seam was indeed about 3/4 inch wide and caulk will not seal it. So ****** said they need to take all panels down and start over. Jan 24, ****, techs ****** and ***** came, but instead of taking the panels down they glued the new panels onto the original ones saying this is to keep from damaging my house. A bandaid job! Im not supposed to use the shower for 48 hrs after but I gave it 3 days. When I used it is when I discovered that these panels were not the same Jacuzzi panels from ******* These are definitely lower quality panels but ******* says they only install *******. Maybe they do but definitely not the quality of the original panels from ******* Now the reason I went with Expo Home was because I was getting a product from ******* I got the subway tile design that was very shiny and had a polished look and the ridges were deeper on the ****** one. The replacement was dull and the panels are not flat against the wall. Wavey in one area. I am very upset that I paid almost ****** for this shower and did not get what I paid for. I called their main number to complain and spoke to a lady ******** asking for the complaint department. She asked me what the problem was and I told her. And she said I cant believe that! She said will report to ******************* the head person and have her or ******* call me. No calls. They cheated a woman home owner. I do not recommend them.Review fromKathleen S

I used Expo around 2018. It's been awhile I had a lot of Health problems which just now I able to revisit my problems with their job. After my husband passed I was not in a right place in my head. But I lived way out in the country alone in a home that was in the family since ****. We had to add onto this one big room type home, to a 2 br and bath. The old bathroom was really in need of a redo from tub to shower. So, after my dad passed he left me some money and I used that to have Expo Home come out and look at it. They promised 1 - 2 days to complete. It took longer but did finish it. I did not notice all the defaults at that time. Was just happy the old was out. So, time forward. About 2019 my son was trying to tell all the defaults of their work. He was so upset about the mess of things and that he seems to think of taking advantage of my mental condish after his dad's death. I never did anything because I didn't want to go through the trouble and probably wouldn't have done anything. But today I have been going over and over in my mind of the complete situation. And yes, I feel totally upset of all the things that have been shown to me. I no longer own this home my son has it. Of course he grips about the work menship all the time. But since it has been several years now it is probably a snow ball in H--- to get anything corrected. I felt compelled to go ahead and write a review. I am saddened of the circumstance's that I was dealling in the way of the death of my husband. And this causing me to make and overlook the quality of work of this company; I personally would not use them again. The positive reviews are awesome, but do the report everything. i will be surprised it this makes it for others to see.Expo Home Improvement

1 starWe paid over $20k to have a new shower and bathtub installed and were told by EXPO that the job would be completed within 1-2 days. Fast forward 4 MONTHS and it is still not 100% completed! They do not install glass for shower enclosures and the 3 glass companies recommended by EXPO would not return our calls after multiple calls and voicemails. Weve had to call EXPO to come back to fix multiple issues due to sloppy, poor workmanship and incorrect materials used during the install. There were also many holes/gaps in the silicone caulk that they used around the shower and tub, including where the shower pan and walls meet so water seeping inside the walls is now a major health concern for my family due to potential mold. The new shower wand installed didnt work properly so it had to be replaced by EXPO as well. Also, the hot water would not get hot enough so that was another trip back to fix that issue. We went through ****** for the new shower and tub and they contracted EXPO. Ive now been told that EXPO has to order correct materials from the manufacturer so it would be 1-2 MONTHS before the new product arrives and then they would call to schedule a time to return. So now were looking at a 5-6 month job completion timeframe vs. 1-2 days as originally promised. I would NOT recommend EXPO to anyone due to the false advertising of project completion with 1-2 days as well as the numerous issues and workmanship concerns for this company. The salesman that initially came to our home was also deceitful and made promises that he probably didnt ever think twice about after we signed on the dotted line! Save yourself lots of time, headaches, and frustrations and use a different shower/tub installation company!Review fromLaticia M
